This needs to be considered but put in perspective. Hopefully these days, ir there was an epidemic drugs would be provided. We still need to focus on Malaria and its prevention and cure. Then secondly HIV. IF I was an African president these are the things I would focus on. Aswell as the health of pregnant women and the conditions of labour. We need to work to increase child mortality rates. Then PERHAPS one man will have one wife and few children and be able to feed and support them all.
No one would disagree with what you say BUT remember in the case of Pneumoinic Plague it can be spread by coughs and sneezes, bearing in ming that MOST people when travelling in Africa travel in "Bulk transports" i.e. busses and minibusses just imagine how quickly an air bourne infection could travel through a bus load of 5o passengers getting dropped off at many points along the route and perhaps getting other transport to continue their journey to another country, drugs can not be stockpiled quickly enough to treat all patients, many people will die,I certainly was unaware that Plague was an increasing problem today.
"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
