This poor man has been abused and no one has given him any compenstion (in money or kind)or represented him at court, his human rights have been abused, terrible. And they say Gambia is a third world country!

Gambians.I don't think I would want to live in the UK would you?

Unfortuantely there is racisim everywhere and its sad to see that in the 21st century people still have such a problem about people of different colour and culture.

but not only is the UK to blame.

I have been to Gambia many times and find it really offensive that I am always shouted and stared at in the street, 'toubab' shouted at me (not just young kids, even when i have introduced myself, adults still call me toubab), also I get abuse from strangers demanding that i give them money...........

it is sad but unfortunatley people still have very narrow minds and i doubt it will ever change

Poor man, they should have given him a big money,Human rights infringed, not able to go to court very sad.
If it had happened in Gambia things would have been dealt with so much differently!

I would advise him to contact the MP of the constituency and bring it to his or her attention.
