Concurrently or by coincidence, here is DO’s editorial. It is a nice read, but ironical that we witnessed the Freedom newspaper’s hacking not long ago and there wasn’t any such headline “cyber terrorists.” This headline would have been a hot one then. It was the same Dr. Sajar Taal who confided and cooperated with the ‘hackers’ then to publish innocent names on the Daily Observer leading to the arrest of many Gambians including the missing Chief E. Manneh. I thought this is a nice forward from DO. It is a misnomer.

Dalton1,

All your postings are relevant and progressive. This one is the most relevant of them all. You have shown us that the war against tyranny in Gambia is already won even before all the weapons are used. In the Daily Observer Editorial on Cyber Terrorists, so much detailed exposure of the tyrant came to surface involuntarily. Not only that, the Observer Management made the most fatal error of opening a platform for readers to chip in. It is like shooting onself on both foot. What obtains now (unless they reconsider reservising the scheme)is a situation where all that they call BAD INFORMATION about the tyrant and his cronies, is now openly lodged on the wider spaces of the tyrant's Daily Observer. They are bound to discontinue this platform before their inevitable abysmal doom. Current pages of the Daily provide the opportunity to read every Gambian site that is considered by the tyrant regime as defeating their deceptive misinformation scheme. To read more about Cyber Terror on Gambia, read Daily Observer. THE ULTIMATE TRUTH SHALL TRIUMPH. Thank you Dalton1 for such a useful lead.

Bro Karamba,

And we equally missed your illumination for the short break you took.

What I would have thought, Sajar and his crew are unqualified to address others ‘cyber terrorists.’ Here they are, they took the Daily observer and personalized it to the APRC administration. Secondary to that the closure of the salient ‘independent’ is in no less an act of terror. If the local press is used to inform Gambians, the informers are either killed (in the case of Deyda) or jailed for eternity (in the case of Chief E. Manneh.) All of a sudden, they are now feeling the heat even greater. They wish to have muzzled the ‘press’ so they keep Gambians in complete darkness. Thanks to technology and cyber space arrival. They have lost it. It remains a nightmare they will fight till another Millennium bug comes in. Personally, I am glad they are reading well what is being written everywhere to ascertain their fate aforetime. From the start, I didn’t doubt it one bit. Sajar and your accomplices, welcome to cyber space! Welcome to cyber justice! Welcome to equality, transparency and accountability!

My Good Brother Dalton1,

In a previous posting, I committed my opinion in support of your recent initiatives and of course the ongoing advancements. Again, I stand by the same conviction that all is going well. Every effort is positively rewarding. These bunch of jokes know it is dust storm to sweep them away. We can now use their own tools to conquer them. Above all, they not adequately PREPARED in the Boy Scouts sense of it. Jammeh was baffling Gambians that he commands so much gun power to crush a nation whose resources he shameless robbed and squandered with the help of some ugly and dirty hands who prefer being seen as patriotic!!! Day by day they become exposed, named, and shamed beyond redemption. In his FORTY (40)YEARS as friend of Iran and Cuba, Jammeh will NEVER choose using one of those East European weapons. This is based on the fact that any spark of gun fire will first unseat the tyrant Jammeh and other events follow later. It is all simple art of bluff. They are defeated for now and ever more. Keep moving.

The following is culled from The Gambia Echo

Dr. Sarja Taal & William John Joof Sacked

By Kissy Kissy Mansa State House

I was informed moments ago that both Dr. Saja Taal, Managing Director of the Daily Observer and William John Joof, Permanent Secretary, Department of State for Foreign Affairs are to be dismissed from their posts effective immediately. Saja Taal is being relieved of his functions at the Daily Observer because of the re-designing of the Observer's web page 'without authorization' from the owner Yahya Jammeh who is furious about the comments page attached to the 'Cyber terrorist' editorial which has invited numerous negative and insulting comments from Gambians at home and abroad illustrating the unpopularity of Yahya Jammeh. The newly revamped web site will be modified as soon as feasible to eliminate the comments section. Saja's matching orders are in the process of being finalized according to State House sources..........

Now from the horse's own mouth, Daily Observer clearly confirms Saja Taal has been fired from his job as Mis-Managing Under-Director.

Mis-Management (refers to twisting and turning of factual information.)
Under-Director (refers to being micro-managed by his boss at State House under a dictatorial scheme of operation)

Freedom Newspaper 1 and Daily Observer 0.

Courtesy of Freedom Newpaper online as quoted:"No wonder, anyone who knows Sarja Taal would never be surprised; The Saja Taal who queried against GAMSU celebrating International Students Day at the University Faculty building in kanifing in 2001,The SARJA Taal who has been fired and hired many different times by Jammeh and the Sarja Taal who was recently questioned by the notorious NIA.

Let me tell you A B S Taal, your days are numbered because you are a nobody under Jammeh’s eye and we will write it whenever you are fired and jailed which is just around the corner."

"Every dog has its own day"

Saja too has now started to taste the bitterness of the regime.Lets all start counting ONE for his troubles have just started.

I have known Saja for a very long time and had come to personal contact with him during his time at the ministry of Education as deputy parm sec. This man has done more harm to many Gambians than some of the people we attribute to terrorists.I remember having a serious arguement with him and all of a suddent he fired me for no just reason because I would not keep quite and let him insult me. BB Darboe then was VP and Minister of Education and had to interveine when the matter was brought to his attention.BB is still alife and can remember that faithfull weeks.I was then a secondary school teacher.Letting sleeping dogs lie,I would leave Saja to his fate. I had no doubt that Saja would one day land into wild books of his created. Most people did not know that when Jammeh started denouncing Mandinkas calling them all sorts of names, Saja was fanning the fire inside him accusing the Mandinkas of openly opposing the regime.I swear this animal is a poison in the flesh of all Gambians. Preaching the colt of hatred against Mandinkas was Saja's trade. My wife is my witness I told her Saja was behind Jammeh's outburst against Mandinkas.I very well remember in his office when we had a bitter quarrel, thinking I was a Mandinka he said to me and I coate:

"DO YOU MANDINKAS THINK YOU OWN THE GAMBIA? NO WAY! AS LONG AS I HAVE LIFE IN ME, I WILL NEVER ALLOW A MANDINKA TO BELITTLE ME.

Then he said in wollof (thinking I cannot speak wollof!)

"So leng hameh lemaleng ship!"(meaning "IF YOU KNOW HOW I DESPISE YOU").

When I repeated those words to BB, He(Saja) flatly denied it but God little did he know I was more than the then NSS for I had him taped and when I played the tape before BB, he only opened his mouth with no words comming out until BB being a non tribalist, come to his defence and then he said he didn't mean he hate mandinkas but he was refering to me but realising the truth about me, he even felt more ashamed. Now wonder Saja with his vast knowledge, cannot land himself a reputable Job.

A drunkard and drug user(he smokes more cannabis than peter tosh),I don't know why he is even allowed to teach at the university. Students should be careful least he teaches them banditry, hatred and wickedness.

Spin Master Sarja's removal is another BIG LOST for Jammeh in addition to more of the President's men in prisons! He exerted pressure on his staff, sacrificed some of them, sold the Aids cure, cyber terrorists amongst lots of editorials promoting this regime.

Poor saja lost his job because when they switched webmasters of the Observer Website, the new webmaster mistakly added a comment system on there.. which was flooded with lots of hate comments. He was held responsible for "creating an opportunity to attack jammeh " on observers website and got given the Boot. Never liked that man, him alone has been responsible for a lot of suffering.. especially that freedom newspaper hacking...

Thanks for pointing out that! FEEDBACK is important; especially to addressed NEGATIVES, WEAKNESSES & THREATS in a COMPETETIVE ENVIRONMENT! Isn' it"creating an opportunity to attack jammeh " have given oppportunity to vent anger and frustrations against current regime and its important for those in AUTHORITY TO CONSIDER, OWN UP TO THE REPERCUSSIONS AND TAKE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS WHERE NECESSARY!

I don't think Jammeh trust any GAMBIAN ESPECIALLY HIS INTIMATES & CLOSE AIDES as lots of his PRIVACY is being exposed and he gambles to weed out his INTRUDERS THAT VOLUNTARILY EXPOSED HIS PRIVACY through the media & on-line. I may be wrong in my speculations
