Omega’s Silence: have they lost strings?

From my humble part, I want to point out, though in disagreement with her on Gambia’s political stance for whom she demonstrated in Gambian forums, but I have nothing else against her. I must also add that I benefited a lot from her poetry and other non-Gambian topics.

Here is one who has always defended Jammeh and his administration, for whatever reason, best known to her and her accomplishes. I mean her hims’ especially. But it is a lot of things happening now, and the interactive Sister Omega has since taken to silence. While I am enquiring if all is well with her and her entire family, those of us who’ve followed her threads for years now would love to hear her commentaries on the latest broom-sweeping ordeal where leads like Edward, Peter and others have all being wiped out. I hope she is not disappointed with his friend’s latest tsunami ordeal.

It remains to be seen that her and all staunches of that crumbling administration are not saying a word about the latest developments. If only they are equally loosing strings with their pal-Father Jammeh, it should be just out of patriotism to condemn such nonchalant attitude from a man they dearly associated with for his madness. The many that cried ‘wolf’ and continue to do so are continually being vindicated.

This is yet another lesson for Gambians. Time and again, we are masked completely in these forums. We hear nothing but ‘this’ and ‘that’. Now that their favorite stars are hit, we expect that we hear from those staunches. Less we stay true, we are short-lived.

Forward with the Gambia Ever! ‘Let justice guide our actions.’

Just a little busy with nation building but still in support of Jammeh´s gov´t. Am sure Sis too has not succumbed to your vandettas against the jammeh fans, but she is probably just sitting and enjoying all these negative talks about Jammeh whilst development is taking place for those with possitive eyes to see. happy Lailatul qadre.

It is the mark of intelligence to entertain an idea without accepting it.

Hi Dalton try not too spin so much to make yourself dizzy. You're right I've lapsed with my writing recently on the bantabaa. I've just been busy with a career change which has taken up a lot of my time as well as juggling family committments and various projects. I tried to post on an article yesterday but lost it in cyberspace under Mugabe. I'm currently nursing the flu. However from time to time I've dropped a line in some of the other forums i.e travel forum.

Bread man you're right I do browse the bantabaa to see whether or not there is something here to stimulate me in replying too. But just haven't had the time to post as much as I would like to Happy Lailabul Qadre- Night of Power.

Peace

You are entitle to your opinions! Quotes:-" succumbed to your vandettas against the jammeh fans,...all these negative talks about Jammeh whilst development is taking place for those with possitive eyes to see".Thats appears to be a sweeping statement

However its a GRAND NATIONAL DEBATE ON ISSUES, THE POLITICAL CLIMATE, GOOD GOVERNANCE, ACCOUNTABILITY & TRANSPARENCY TO FORWARD THE GAMBIA OUR HOMELAND; THAT ALL MAY IN UNITY! FREEDOM! & PEACE! EACH DAY! but not vendetttas against the Jammeh fans or negative talks about Jammeh. In as much as there are positives the negatives outweigh the positives under Gambian politics and current government in my opinion.

We are experiencing RECESSION, RAMPANT CORRUPTION, RAMPANT HIRING & FIRING, POLITICAL VICTIMISATION AND DIVIDE & RULE POLICIES AMONGST OTHERS!!! Are these are not FACTS / NEGATIVES under your eyes to see inorder to wash your dirty linnings

There is nothing like home and lets develope the POLITICS, THE POLITICAL SYSTEM AND STRUCTURES FOR IDEAL GAMBIAN DEMOCRACY. We are all good citizens of this great nation and we love THE GAMBIA OUR HOMELAND.

Yeah well mad dogs bark at the moon but they can't change anything !

Corruption every time Jammeh clamps down on corruption the oppositon screams sympathising with those whose hands have been caught in the cookie jar. if Jammeh has no right to dismiss incompetent Ministers and such like who the hell does you kobo. After all I cannot recall you standing for President or are you Darboe in disguise? As for recession, wake up Sunshine, the whole world is feeling the pinch at the momement just read the economic forecast in UK and US at the moment to name only two.

Seriously, Gambia is wee baby in the world economy. So how can you blame Jammeh for that. Divide and rule policies what b.s,and people wonder why Gambians have home have no faith in Opposition Leaders who seem stuck in the early 90's. Oh Wow! I'm forgetting of course this was the last time they were in power.
What policies did they have again? Educating the rich outside of the country, making Britain pay for the Civil Service, granting permission for NASA to build an airstrip for emergency landings which later became Yundum Airport, which consisted as an air strip until the APRC built the international airport which is there today. Gambia was placed within the top twenty countries of the world. They say ignorance is bliss I suppose this is because those priviledge few and their cronies benefitted from the nation coffers as it were their own person bank accounts.

In other words the public purse which received money for 5 universities where did that go to??? Corruption don't make laugh corruption goes to the very root of Society and it operates on many levels be it materially or spirtually. Why is it that the Marabouts and the Accountant are never out of work?

Kobo,
When will it be time to condemn a wrongdoer? In sura bakarah, the verse that said "sum-mun, um-mun, buk-mun, laa yuhminuuun"-

happy fast & eid in advance,

dalton.

Back on FACTS AND REALITIES THEY DON'T WANT HEARING AND THEY DON'T WANT US TO DISCUSS NATIONAL ISSUES:-

1) I would repeat again RAMPANT HIRING & FIRING and highlight the latest reports in the headlines; reliable sources from both Daily Observer, The Point Newspaper and other national newspaper. However gathered the following as reported from the Point Newspaper the cycle of events:-

HIRING!
I) 29th August, 2007 Willy Joof Bounces Back as P.S. No.1 at Foreign Affairs & Bai Ousman secka P.S 2 under http://www.thepoint.gm/headlines2260.htm
ii) 26th September, 2007 Bai Ousman Secka Appointed Gambian Ambassador to USA under http://www.thepoint.gm/headlines2341.htm

FIRING & PERSECUTIONS!
I) 5th October 2007 Bala Garba Jahumpa, Batata Juwara, Bai Ousman Secka and Tijan Bah in Police Net under http://www.thepoint.gm/headlines2370.htm

ii) Today Friday 12th October Willy Joof Fired, Lands in Police Net under http://www.thepoint.gm/headlines2389.htm

POLITICAL VICTIMISATION, ARBITARY ARRESTS, PERSECUTIONS, DETENTIONS IN-COMUNICANDO

I) QUESTIONS OF DEATH PENALTY UNDER THE LAWS OF THE GAMBIA MANY ASTROCITIES!The mysterious unpopular cases of Late Koro Ceesay (Ex-Finance Minister), assassination of late Deyda Hydara (Journalist) and more highlights through this link Bantaba Gambian politics topic under http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3606

ii) Kanyiba Clocks One Year Incommunicado under http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4472

iii) plight of Rambo, Chief Ebrima Manneh amongst others! . More on this link http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4053

To whom it may concern! Am expecting another saucy insult from you and the crimininals who want us eliminated dare we uncover these heinious crimes! Just imagine Eid celebrations today and many families made to suffer thinking their beloved, those missing and suffering the truama of state terror to apese only one person's political interest to stay in power at all costs. Advising you to put yourself in same position of families of victims and ask me what you should do to condone it, forgive and forget

A typicial outlook as in this article under Bantaba Gambian politic topic: IN THE MIND OF A LEADER THUG http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4584

However I would take solace from these inspiring themes of our National Anthem to vindicate me of any wrong doing or castigating me as a cyber terrorists on political grounds.

The Gambia Ntioanl Anthem reads:- For The Gambia Our Homeland! We Strive & Work and Pray! That All May Live in Unity! Freedom! & Peace Each Day! An Join Our Diverse People Towards The Common Good!... Let Justice Guide Our Actions!...To The Gambia Ever True!

Thanks for trying to spin and justify his actions as legitimate and not appreciating the politics behind the scenes. To simplify Edward's case for example. They were all buddy (very closed & common political interests) but surprisingly they fell apart and not only did Edward lost his ministrial potfolio but also Secretary General of A.P.R.C. Am even wandering wheher A.P.R.C is a democratic national party or own by Jammeh to dictate what he wants to exercise politically? Ultimately it is sensible to acknowledging these FACTS:-

1) THAT NO MAN IS INDISPENSABLE!
2) NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT!
3) ANYBODY CAN GO ANYTIME!

Edward, Baba and all the Presidents men were there. President Jawara was there and Jammeh must encounter his faith (as determine by ALLAH to end his regime like great rulers and other despots before him!).

We are not hypocrites, WITHOUT FEAR & FAVOUR but only concern with the injustice, state terror and political victimisation as a WORTHY CAUSE for this beatiful small country (OUR MOTHERLAND!).

However Jammeh fans think this country belongs to him, he is above the Consitution, he is not accountable and should not be brought to book! Any INHERITENCE FOR HIS WEALTH on recordDid we know his amount of wealth through any assets declaration for political reasons,IN TERMS OF CORRUPTION, TRANSPARENCY & PROBITY; as there are precedences on series of commisions of enquiries and assets declarations that he used for legitimacy & empowerment to rule?
