Janko Hie there, Do you per chance have any video of the wonderful Taka; a drummer from McCarthy Island who has a special gift of playing on two or more drums together all by himself? He drums and dances accompanied by his own singing a unique display of drumming talent. |

| Thanks Janko especially for your videos they awakened nostalgic feelings which ran so deep. Any wonder, that some times people get out bursts which are taken to be excessive by others who fail to realize that they missing something very valuable , I meaning being back home enjoying our natural heritage in peace. I am sure someone would have a video of Taka, as he welcomes all visitors especially at the commissioner's rest house singing in Mandinka and English for tourists. His anthem is 'Welcome to janjanbureh'a very beautiful song which he changes at will to include the visitors names if he knows it making you feel welcome to that island paradise. |
