Wonders never end. Sanakareh of The Gambia Echo ran a sensational story about Lawyer Mai Fatty's accident. He cunningly weaved a Hollywood Action thriller of the accident which made me shiver in the comfort of my flat here in the North of England. Because i know Mai thru a friend of his and our paths crossed in business, i called our common friend who had earlier on sent me an e-mail abt the accident. To my utter dismay , he reported that the truck was infact stationary (not in motion). Parked by the roadside. A former police ASP(a friend) Lamin Jabang died in a similar manner along the coastal road some five yrs along wit a german friend. He too drove his BMW car right thru the back of the truck also by the roadside at night. Could it have been a plot too? Please lets cut out this sensationalism. Its not good. Many are frightened abt these LIES.
Its unfair to the victims and their friends and family for IRRESPONSIBLE journalist to MAKE CAPITAL out of someone's mis-hap. Am sure no matter how cruel Jammeh is he can't silence all his critics. If Mai was one at all.
