Part 1
Lolly was a menace to her friends. She is jealous and mischievious. She poised herself as a genuine friend, get their deep secrets, use it to destroy genuine relationships and later try to snatch such boyfriends to make them her own. Such relationships never lasted. Then came her turn. Her Mr. Right appeared. It was pay back time. She has stepped on too many toes. How did friends come for their pound of flesh? Whatever one cuts bleeds one’s finger. (Lu why rendi si saloho lai nacha!).
Penda’s Experience
Penda is Lolly’s childhood friend. They went to school together, from nursery to university. They became bossom friends. Penda’s boyfriend Chernor is from abroad. He bought her a bungalow, furnished to taste, an expensive sports car and million dalasi pocket money for the year. Chernor is caring and loving. “Chernor is god sent. He so much loves me that when I sneeze or cough he wants to know the reason.” Penda took Lolly around to inspect her bungalow. She showed her everything. Lolly was dying with envy and jealousy. She could not believe her eyes. “No! Chernor bought all these things for you? Furnished bungalow and a million dalasi pocket money for a year? No, this cannot happen! It is a fairy tale.” Penda laughed. “It has already happened.” “If all these goodies are given during courtship, I wonder how your wedding gift would be like?” Lolly questioned. “Our wedding is coming in three months time.” Penda revealed. Lolly complained about her boyfriend Jegan.” My boyfriend Jegan is a false man. He boasted to have come from a rich family. He drives cars to come to me on the whole they are owned by his brothers and sister. His dad is a retired civil servant and his mum is dead. If I asked him to give me any substantial sum of money, he gave me excuses upon excuses. I never receive any substantial sum from Jegan, only stories, stories!” Lolly lamented. She referred to Jegan as an *****. Panda advised Lolly. “Nothing is static. Have patience. Jegan can be somebody in the future. He is young and promising and he loves you.” “What stupid love? Look at what Chernor did for you. I want love expressed in material terms not only in words. Don’t insult me with Jegan’s stupid love. I am a girl. What I need is material love. I am not lucky. I hope I am not curse.” “Don’t say that to yourself. God’s time is the best. Have faith in God and God alone.” Penda advised.
Chernor Visits Penda
Chernor visited Penda and found Lolly there. Penda introduced them. Lolly winked her eyes at Chernor. He responded. An evil thought entered her mind. How to snatch Chernor from Penda?
Lolly And Jegan
Lolly met Jegan at the restaurant and snubbed him. She insulted him and blamed him for being unable to meet her needs. “Why am I killing myself for you? What have you done for me? Look at Penda and Chernor! Chernor has bought a well furnished bungalow for her as well as a brand new sports car and a million dalasi pocket money to last for a year. All these are pre marriage gifts. I wonder what the wedding gift itself would be like? Look at Nyima! Her boyfriend established a boutique for her. She travels to Dubai, Hong Kong, South Korea to buy goods to furnish her boutique. Again look at Jainaba? Her boyfriend Famara rented her a well furnished self contained. The story goes on and on. These babes were my course mates. What do they have which I don’t? Yet they are enjoying all these goodies while I wallow in abject poverty. This is unacceptable! I’ll not take it again.” She queried. Jegan started to lecture her on genuine love. “We are a happy couple in real love. Don’t compare our relationship with material benefits. Don’t compare us to other people. You sound like a prostitute. Don’t destroy what we have. Nothing is static. I have plans. I can be anybody tomorrow. Also remember not all fingers are the same.” Lolly accepted the description. “Yes I am a prostitute, if it means I demand for benefits from you as in my friends’ relationships. All fingers are not the same yes. But why should I end with the shortest finger? I am leaving you before you waste more of my time.” She rose up and left. Jegan was dismayed. “Lolly, don’t leave! Nothing is static. I can be someone someday.” Lolly had already left in a rage. Jegan followed suit.
Penda Reveals Her Secret
Lolly visited Penda and enquired more about how she got Chernor to see her as a wife material. “This is a deep secret sister. I never told anybody. But I trust you. We are best pals since nursery school. I can trust you with my secrets. I know you can watch my back. There is this mystic man at the beachside close to the cemetery; he helped me make Chernor see me as wife material. There were many women in his life. I was the least to be considered. I took Che’s picture to him and we prayed over it. His attitude towards me changed and here we are about to get married.” Lolly posted doubt. “Does it work? I don’t believe in it.” “It works. As I earlier explained, I was last in Che’s list of women but now he adores me and does whatever I say.” “Are you really sure?” “Yes! Definitely sure. Penda emphasized. “But his eyes can be cleared off before the wedding and he calls it off.” “No! That cannot happen every Wednesday night I go to Baba with Chernor’s picture to renew his charm. I am telling you this deep secret. You are my sister and I know you will always watch my back.” “Of course! I’ll always watch your back. I am happy for you oh! Pray for me to also have a generous man like yours.” “God’s time is the best. Your own miracle will come.” Penda reassured Lolly.
Lolly Pays A Visit To Chernor
Lolly visited Chernor and betrayed Penda. She told him everything. Chernor could not believe his ears. “Tell me it is not true because if it is I’ll kill that **** with my bare hands. What have I done to deserve this? I have given this **** everything.” “Go between 8 and 9 O’clock at night. You’ll see Penda with your picture praying with Baba at the beachside close to the cemetery.” “Can we go together?” Chernor asked. “Oh no! I don’t want Penda’s trouble. She is diabolical and deadly.” “Okay! All the same. You are right. Thank you for your concern. I’ll go there at the right time.” “You have done so much for her but she still wishes you evil. I’ll always watch your back. You are a good man. Even though Penda is my best pal, I cannot side with her to do evil.” “Thank you again.” Chernor gave her fare money up to D5000 (five thousand dalasi). She gleed. “This man is well loaded. Look at him giving me D5000 for fare. I wish he looks at my direction if he breaks up with Penda.” Lolly wore a seductive dress when she visited Chernor.
Chernor Visits The Beachside
Chernor visited the beachside as instructed by Lolly. He went at the right time and confirmed everything with his naked eyes. “Oh, it is true that **** wants to destroy me? We shall see!” Chernor made a decision.
Penda Taken By Surprise
Penda was taken by surprise. The Eviction team came to evict her from her bungalow. She protested. She told them the house was bought by her fiancée Chernor. She got the shock of her life. “This same Chernor you call your fiancé sold this house to my brother a month ago.” Badou said, “It’s a lie! It cannot be true. Let me get to Chernor.”She tried to get Chernor’s office through the phone but to no avail. The line was switched off. She tried over and over again. When she succeeded the secretary told her Chernor was not available. She had to quarrel with the secretary. She tried to drive the car but its key was also taken from her. She became handicapped. She asked Lolly to wait for her at her home while she drove to Chernor’s office by taxi. Lolly declined. “No! No! I cannot wait oh! I am afraid of the police and their troubles. I am going home.” Penda was disappointed but she drove the experience away. Lolly left her friend at her time of need. Everything was seized from Penda. She was devastated.

Lolly Visits Chernor
Lolly visited Chernor’s home. He started to date her. She boycotted Penda. Panda was devastated. She still could not believe Chernor could leave her without a notice. “Where did I go wrong?” She questioned. “I love him. I gave him my best. Why should he treats me like thrash? I have to go to him. He has to explained.” Penda visited Chernor. What did she see? The shock of her life! Her best friend Lolly was there making love to Chernor. She mocked at her. Chernor acted I don’t care. Penda broke down. She cried bitterly. She left Chernor’s house in desperation.
Penda Breaking Apart
Penda broke apart. “Lolly was the devil in my life. She destroyed my joy. She snatched the life in me. I opened up to her, she stabbed me behind my back, kills my joy and mocks at me. What have I done to deserve this?” She broke down at Yama’s shoulder. Yama counselled her. “Allah is awake! The wicked shall be punished! Forget about Lolly and Chernor. They are two of a kind. Any man who courts his girl friend’s pal and does not care is not worth crying for. Chernor is as guilty as Lolly. Allah will bring your own man at the appropriate time. Lolly is a cameleon. Forget about them. Chernor is not your husband. Your husband will come at the right time. Cheer up!” Yama encouraged her friend.
Lolly Relocates To Jainaba’s House
Lolly kept on squatting with friends at week ends although she has rented a room and palour. She felt degraded. “Why my friends’ boyfriends rent them self contained, duplets and me I have none who rent me anything?” She soliloqued. Now she is at Jainaba’s house. Jainaba and Nyima discussed about their boyfriends. “Me, I can only date hotmail guys, heavily loaded. They fill my dining and wardrobe.” Put in Jainaba. Nyima concurred. “Look at my duplet! It was bought by a hotmail guy. Me, I only date hotmail guys. They are fun to be with. They make you dine with the cream of society. I love it! I love to be important!” Put in Nyima. The serpent pretended. “I don’t love for money. I love for True love.” The duo laughed at her. “What did she say?” They micmicked. “While we go for hotmail guys Lolly goes for ‘I love you dot com’. Ha! Ha! Ha!” Modou Nyima’s boyfriend came for them. Nyima introduced him to her two friends Jainaba and Lolly. Lolly winked at him unnoticed by the two girls. The trio left for a date.
They Go To The Gym
Modou took them to the Gym to do some exercises. Afterwards he took them to the Snacks Joint to buy some ice cream. Throughout the outing Lolly tried to snatch Modou from Nyima unnoticed by the two girls.
Jainaba And Boyfriend
Jainaba’s boyfriend Famara rented her a well furnished duplet. Famara changed her ward robe. Jainaba was in the skies. “you brought all these things for me? I am grateful. You have to spend the whole weekend with me. I don’t want the other babes to snatch you from me.” Jainaba argued. “I am fully occupied this weekend but Ishallah! I’ll make it next weekend.” “Okay!” then she gave him a passionate lip kiss.
The Gifts And Lolly
Jainaba came with a box load of gifts from Famara. Lolly became envious as usual. “Have you shopped the whole city? Who bought you all these? Your hotmail guy?” “Of course! My hotmail guy bought me all these gifts. Do you like them?” Put in Jainaba. “Of course! I love them. They are gorgeous, fanciful and cute!” Lolly said. Jainaba went to pack her things. Lolly soliloqued. She compared herself to Jainaba. “I am as beautiful as her. What have she got which I haven’t?” Lolly lamented.
Jainaba And Lolly
Lolly rebuked Jainaba. “Look at what Famara have bought for you. He bought the whole Kanifing Municipality. I hope you are serious with him. Be faithful to him. He is a good guy. Forget about the other hot mails. You have a lot of them.” Lolly advised. Jainaba became furious. “Who are you to tell me how to manage my love life? I’ll date whoever I want to that is my business and none of yours!” She thought hard and said. “I am sorry to be harsh with you. I am sorry.” “Its okay. I am just a concern friend that’s all.” Jainaba opened up to the devil. “Famara is a good guy. He loves and adores me. He showers me with gifts and have open me a healthy account at his bank. Financially, I am okay but I yearn for more. I want to be his wife. But he is yet to settle down. My biological clock is tickling. I can’t wait anymore. I am already 24 years. My parents are blaming me for not being married. Famara have all the qualities I want in a husband. I don’t want to lose him. And I’ll not lose him, no way!” Lolly became curious. “How do you wish to keep him? Using means?” “Well! Not means actually but through divine intervention. There is this man of God he engages in night vigil prayers reading verses from the Qur’an using your intended picture. If he does then his/her heart is won. But there is a snag.” “What snag?” Lolly asked. “He has to sleep with you.” Lolly thought hard and ill advised her friend. “Why not? If sleeping with him make Famara marry you why not one night’s stand. Do it, it is fine by me. The end justifies the means.” Jainaba became excited. “So you approve of it? There is nothing wrong?” “Yes! It is alright by me.” Lolly emphasized. “I want to be your maiden of honour in your wedding.” An evil thought entered Lolly’s mind. Jainaba went into her room. Lolly copied Famara’s phone number.
Lolly Locates Famara’s Home
Lolly followed Jainaba in a taxi. She located Famara’s house. She went unnoticed.
Lolly Pays Famara A visit
Lolly paid Famara a visit in his office. He was surprised to see her. There was no appointment. She came as Jainaba left the office. The Secretary announced her to Famara. He asked her to usher her in. Fam’s thought Lolly came on behalf of her friend Jainaba. “Anything the matter? Jainaba have just left.” “I have not come for Jainaba. I’ve come to see you.” “See me? Okay! You are welcome!” she started by calling Jainaba names. Famara was startled, overwhelmed. Lolly went with her revealing narration. “Jainaba is evil. She wants to pay good with evil. You have given her fortune and love. She is prepared to ruin you for life. She intends to take your photograph to a juju house and make you her slave forever. Seeing is believing. If you doubts me go to this address on Wednesday night. You’ll see her in Baba’s house with your photograph and Baba citing Qur’anic incantations on it so that Jainaba will forever tie you on her wrapper. You will wonder why I should do this for you a total stranger and betray my girlfriend. But the answer is simple. You have done so much for Jainaba. She should not pay you with evil. It pains my heart. I decided to expose her. Good day.”
Famara was mesmerized. He thanked Lolly for her concern. He swore to deal mercilessly with Jainaba if the accusation is correct.

At The Prayer House
Jainaba slept at the Prayer House on Tuesday night. Baaba prayed throughout the night and slept with Jainaba. On Wednesday he continued to pray throughout with Famara’s picture at hand. Some of his Talibes (followers) were with him praying for Jainaba to have Famara as a husband. Lolly came to collect Famara to show him the Prayer House. She came in Famara’s jeep up to a junction and pointed to the house. “Look at that T junction, curve right and enter the first red gate. That is the Prayer House. Good luck!” She dropped to go. “No! No! Lets go together. I want us to catch Jainaba red handed.” “No! No! No! I can’t! I don’t want Jainaba’s trouble. She will cast me an evil spell. Remember she is my friend and confidante. I am not suppose to tell you this. I did so because you are a kind person. You love Jainaba. You have done everything for her. Why should she wish you evil. I don’t care my girl friend. I’ll expose her if she is evil. You are a good man. Don’t mention my name at all.” Lolly advised. “Okay! You are right. Thank you all the same. I’ll go alone. If this is true I’ll roast Jainaba alive.” “Go! Seeing is believing. Good bye.” Famara gave her return fare and she left.
Caught Red Handed
Jainaba was busy with the Talibes praying with Baaba. Famara’s picture was place in the middle surrounded by ten lighted candles. Famara tiptoed and caught them red handed. “What! Oh my God! Jainaba what are you doing with my picture? So it is true? What have I done to deserve this sort of treatment from you?” Jainaba was startled. She was lost of words. “Fams! What are you doing here?” “Oh! I should ask you that. What are you doing here with my picture lighted all over?” Jainaba begged for understanding. “It is not what you think Fams! It is not what you think!” “What should I think now? Tell me!” Baaba intervened. “It is okay! She is praying for your success. She meant no harm.” “Shut up! You beast! Don’t speak until I ask you to!” He went and snatched his picture from the floor. Jainaba tried to hold his trousers. He nearly stamped her. “Don’t touch me swine! You are finished! I have nothing to do with you again! You are evil! Jainaba you are evil! Allah will punish you! Seeing is believing! I was dealing with Jezebel!” Fams left in a rage. Jainaba followed suit. “Come back! The prayers are not completed.” Baaba said. “Go to hell and rot there! What am I praying for? My man have left me for good. Leave me alone! Leave me alone!” Jainaba followed Fams. Baaba’s Talibes followed after. Baaba was left alone.
Jainaba In Limbo
Jainaba was in limbo. She mourned her loss. She could not understand how Famara came to the Prayer House and caught her red handed. It was a jig saw puzzle, which she could not answer at the moment. The serpent was around trying to confuse her all the more. “If a man said he does not love you again should you kill yourself? Forget about him. You are young and beautiful you’ll have another man”. Lolly advised “I don’t want another man. It is Fams I want. Famara is my life. But! I cannot still understand how Famara came to the Prayer House with precision, telepathy. It is indeed a strange coincidence.” Lolly is smart. She gave an apt answer. “You know these guys when they become fed up they cook stories. He might have followed your trail. That’s what they do if they are fed up with a babe. Cheer up! Take heart! Famara is not the only guy in the whole country. You’ll get a better guy.” She counselled. “I don’t want a better guy. I want my Fams back.” Lolly gave some biscuits to Jainaba. “Eat, drink forget about Famara. He has left you.” “Thank you! I’ve lost my appetite.” Put in Jainaba. She is devastated and brooding. “Famara treated me like a lady. Who is tearing us apart? And now the rumour in town is that I wanted to use him for money ritual. Me Jainaba! Use Famara for money ritual? I am finished! I am finished! When shall I ever recover from this shame and anguish?” Jainaba sobbed bitterly. “I’ll go for an explanation. I’ll not leave him go scott-free. It is not fair! It is not fair!” Lolly tried to discourage her. “Don’t disgrace yourself! Don’t go! Forget about him! Open a new page in your life. You are young and beautiful. Mr. Right will surely come.” “No! I don’t care about any Mr. Right. Famara is my strength. He has to answer my questions. And he have to answer them satisfactorily!” Jainaba emphasized.
Lolly And Famara
Lolly visited Famara at his office. She came and announced herself. Famara was amused and excited. “Who do I have here? The lady who saved my life. You are lost. Where have you been? I’ve searched you everywhere. I don’t know where you work. I don’t know your house and I don’t want to visit you at Jainaba’s home. I don’t want to set my eyes on her again. She is a wicked witch.” He offered her a seat. She sat. Famara proposed a date. “I have to thank you for saving my life. You are a great lady. I am impressed.” Fams insulted and cursed Jainaba. “I regretted befriending that wicked witch. I invite you to a dinner.” Lolly acted the good babe. “No! save your money. Say, I’ll come to your home and prepare you a delicious dish. I want you to taste my culinary skills.” Famara gave her D5000 (five thousand dalasis). She querried. “This is too much. I’ll cook you chicken yassa.” “D1, 000 is okay for what I want to cook.” Lolly returned the D4000 back to Fams. She left. “Let me visit the market to buy some food stuff. You’ll meet me at home.” she winked at Fams. He was overwhelmed. “No! Where is she from? A babe returning cash? Unheard of! I am impressed. And she is sexy and attractive. I think I am going to dig this babe!” He soliloqued and gleed. “This time around I’ve caught a bigger shark!” He said aloud and laughed. “All that glitters is not gold” says the old adage.

Lolly Cooks For Famara
Lolly took a little amount of money and cooked a delicacy for Famara. He was impressed. “How can a babe lessen fish money and prepare a delicious meal like this?” he soliloqued. Famara was impressed. He was all over Lolly as they played romance. She made a false impression on him. They ate their meal and made love.
Fatima Counsels Jainaba
Fatima came to visit Jainaba. She found her in an ugly mood. She narrated her experience with Fams. She counseled her. “Forget about him. He is not worth crying for. He does not deserve you. You are beautiful. Mr. Right will come. Cheer up!” “No! I have to confront Famara and ask him why he should treat me like thrash.” Fatima tried to discourage her. “You can ask someone to love you; you can cajole someone to love you; but you cannot beg someone to love you if not you’ll continue to beg to sustain that relationship. Where is your dignity girl? Let Famara come begging you, not the other way round”. Fatima argued. “Fams is my strength, my pride I’ll go find out why he is behaving like such.” She went to Famara.
Lolly And Fams
The duo were playing romance on the parlour settee. They discussed about Jainaba. They talked about her wickedness. Famara talked about a shopping spree abroad. Lolly pretended “There is no need. We can patronize the fashion designers, the boutiques. Their merchandise is from abroad and you’ll spend less money”. “You are from Mars. I’ve never befriended a babe of your kind. Babes are spendthrift and greedy especially with a rich guy. I love you”. He gave Lolly a passionate lip kiss. “I’ve bought a present for you. Let me go upstairs to get it.” A present for me? Why? Is it necessary?” She pretended. “Of course yes! You are my special babe. I love you!” He again gave her a passionate lip kiss.
Jainaba Comes In
Jainaba came in. The shock of her life. What did she see? She exclaimed”. Lolly! What are you doing in my guy’s house? “Nonsense! What do you mean? Which guy are you talking about?” She became offensive and insulting. “Oh! So you were the one tearing us apart? No wonder the precision, you took my heart and pierce it! You are envious and evil!” Lolly sprang up. “Don’t let me talk! Leave me alone! Why should I allow you to cast a spell on an innocent man! What have Famara done to you? But to love. You leave me alone or I expose you!” Jainaba sprang at her and they fought like two hungry lionesses. Jainaba is a huge lady. She gave Lolly a good hiding. She yelled for help. Famara came running down the stairs “what! What is happening in my parlour? You! You Jainaba! What are you doing in my house?” “The witch is devouring me. Help me! Help me! Ask her out of your house! Your life! She took you to a juju house to enslave you forever. Now you are free and she wants to kill me!” Famara pulled her from Lolly and pushed her out of my house. Get out of my house! I hate you! I have nothing to do with you. You are a witch! Get out of my life!” He scolded her. Jainaba cried for help. “Don’t leave me Fams! She is framing me up! Can’t you see it? She is jealous and envious of our relationship.” Jainaba tried to explain. Fams refused to listen. Get out of my sight! My life! I hate up!” He tried to push her out. Jainaba resisted. She dodged and charged at Lolly. She gave her a good hiting before Famara got hold of her and pushed her out of his house. He shut the door at her face. Jainaba cried in shame and disgrace. “What have I done to Lolly to deserve such a treatment. Is it a crime to do good?” She asked herself over and over again.
Jainaba And Fatima
Jainaba went back to her house heartbroken. She wept over Fatima’s shoulder. “I told you! Don’t go to him. He is a cheat. They are two of a kind. Leave them with Allah. They betrayed you. Forget about them and live your life positively.” Fatima advised. Jainaba continued “I have undone the jig saw. Famara’s visit to the prayer house was precise. I know there was an informer. But who? Now I know. I was dining with the devil.”
Fams And Lolly“What an audacity? how could she visit my home after what she has done to me? It is over between us. Jainaba is evil.” Lolly concurred. “I heard her mother is a witch and she does not know her father.” “Her mother is a witch.” Fams concurred.
Jainaba’s House
As Jainaba sat reflecting with Fatima Lolly came into the house. “What effrontery? What audacity? What are you doing in my house? You come to mock me? Get out of my house before I do something dastardly!” Jainaba yelled. Lolly’s protested. “Why do you throw my luggage? Let me check whether my valuables are intact! “To hell with you and your valuables! Do I care! Get out of my house! My life! I don’t want to set my eyes on you again!” Lolly protested and insulted Jainaba. She ran after her and threw an object at her. Lolly dodged. Jainaba ran after her and Lolly ran out of the compound. Fatima restrained her. “Leave her to go! Lolly is trouble and bad hick! Allah will punish her. Her dooms day will come and she will be paid back in her own coin”. Jainaba was angry. “This babe is useless. After everything she has done! She came back into my house? She is a lay about! Let her solve her own problems. I am finished with her. I hate her forever. She has spoilt my joy. Jainaba lamented”. Lolly’s conscience is dead.
Famara and Essa
Fams and Essa are great friends. They are business partners. Essa objected to Fam’s relationship with Lolly. “Fams! What are you doing? Are you well? Lolly Visits Fam’s Office
Lolly visited Famara’s office to enquire about him. “What’s happening my love? I don’t hear from you for long. Who is tearing us apart? Is it Jainaba? That daughter of the devil!” “Well! I don’t want to see you again! Don’t ever come looking for me. I am not available! Do you understand?” Lolly was disappointed. “Why? What have I done? We are two of a kind! Don’t allow that witch to separate us. We love each other. We understand each other.” Lolly pleaded. “Get out of my office! Get out of my life! I don’t want to ever again associate with Jainaba or any of her friends. You are all birds of the same feathers flock together.” Lolly begged but to no avail. Famara drove her out of the office compound. Lolly felt disappointed and dejected.
Reflections
Lolly reflected in her house. “Look at me! I came up to catching some big sharks and they slipped out of my hands! Am I cursed? Big shots sleep with me and discard me off! What does my friends have which I have not? All my schemes failed. But I am not discouraged. I’ll keep on trying until I succeed. I have to date and marry a rich guy Ishallah!” Lolly vouched.
Lolly Visits Alhajj Baaba, Catherine’s Sugar Daddy
Alhajj Baaba is dating Kate in secret. He had three wives. Kate is his secretary. He is in the airline business. Kate is Lolly’s friend. Alhajj maintained Kate’s family. He built a duplet at her father’s home. He gives the fish money. He also built a boutique in Kate’s compound which is situated in a business area. Lolly is envious of all these goodies. “Why Kate and not me? Kate, the ugly duckling can have such things from a big shark and not me? I think I am cursed. I don’t believe in the Baabas but I have to go to them for a “Changat’ (Spiritual bath for luck).” Lolly visited Alhajj and asked about Kate. Alhajj was suspicious. He believed his third wife is investigating him through Lolly. “Kate is off today. She will come to work tomorrow Ishallah.” Lolly shamelessly chased after Alhajj. He rejected her outright. “I am an Alhajj with three wives and twenty children and several grandchildren. Get out of my office! Don’t make me commit sin devilish woman! Get out of my office before I call you my security! Get out!” Lolly was shattered. She went out in disgrace. Alhajj laughed. “Nonsense! It is Aja Absa. She is the ‘panka’ (aggressive) and the assuming wife. She is educated and in business. My other two Ajas Binet and Marie are local wives. They are unassuming especially Aja Binet my first wife. She acts as a mother to me. I am the master whatever I do is unquestioned. But Absa! She is my headache! She shows me hell! She has set the devil on me but she has failed. She will never discover my Kate, my sweet Kate! Kate teases my sensory organs”. Alhajj soliloqued.
As Lolly Comes Out
Lolly spoke to herself as she came out of Alhajj’s office. “Look at the fool and rascal. He lied nakedly to me. He said he has three wives but he still flirts with kate, my friend. He had given fortune to Kate. He promised to make her his fourth wife. Kate is not interested to marry him. She fears Absa his lioness wife who fights co-wives and girlfriends alike. I’ll set a trap for Alhajj. He disgraced me. I’ll disgrace him.” Lolly vouched.
Lolly Visits Aja Absa
Lolly visited Aja Absa at her boutique. She pretended to be a concern person. “Aja! I like you very much. You are a decent lady who has tried very hard for Alhajj your husband. Am sorry! What I’ll tell you is not sweet.” “Go ahead! I am all ears.” “Alhajj is frolicking with my brother’s fiancée Kathy. My other relatives are setting trap for him. He might loss his life if caught. If you don’t want to be a widow act now before it is too late.” “How do you know this?” Absa asked. “Kate is driving an expensive sports car from Alhajj. He had open a boutique for her in her home. He also built a duplet for her. Kate is double dating. She does not want to marry your husband but she accepts the fortune from him. Kate wants to marry my brother. Who stays abroad.
We the family members do not want our brother to marry a harlot. We are setting a trap for your husband Alhajj. If you don’t believe me go to Alhajj Amara’s guest house on Saturday evening. You’ll catch them red handed.” Lolly got up to leave. “Thank you for your concern!” said Absa. “It’s a pleasure. Kate is cheating on all of us. We have to stop her game with Alhajj.” Lolly posited.
Absa paced up and down. “Alhajj! I hope it is not true? If it is I’ll do something you’ll forever regret! Hopeless man!” Absa soliloqued.
Alhajj And Kate
Absa came exactly to the place and on time. She went straight to the receptionist desk and asked for her husband. “Where is that beast you call Alhajj Baaba? I’ll skin you alive if I found you in prostitution. “Alhajj was shock when he heard his wife calling him names. Kate was equally bewildered. “Its my wife! Get up! Wear your clothes!” As lightning, Alhajj escaped through the back door. Kate was not as swift. Absa rushed into the room as Kate tried to escape. She gave her a good hiding. Kate managed to flee for her life. “I’ll kill you beast! Prostitute! Husband snatcher!” Absa yelled. “As for Alhajj! You’ll meet me at home.” Absa left.
Alhajj Dodges Absa
Alhajj should have spent the night at Absa’s Villa but he dodged and went to Aja Binet. She refused him. “It is incorrect. It is not my ‘Aiye’ (turn for the husband). He then visited Aja Marie’s Villa. She in turn refused him and gave the same reason for refusal. No way to way, he went back to Kate’s house and spent the night. Absa vowed to deal with him. She does not give up. She is a fighting tigress.
Elders Pay A Visit To Absa
Elders of Alhajj’s clan visited Absa to cool her down. They asked her to restrain. “You are Alhajj’s third wife. He is a Muslim entitle to four wives. If you frustrate him he will marry Kate and you can do nothing about it. Look at your villa! Well furnished! You have gone to Mecca and you have a boutique. You travel around the globe. Your co-wives don’t have that privilege. What do you want now? To disgrace your husband? Kate is his Secretary. Do you want him to sack her?” The elders blamed Absa not Alhajj. Absa’s parents blamed her as well. She was alone in her fight. She gave up the fight. Alhajj bought her a jeep as a compensation.
