thanks serenata, electric for your good wishes. Monday is my 7th day. My daddy and mum combined turkish and gambian tradition with islam to have unique celebration for me.
After I was read ezan to my ears, on Monday I will go to mosque to be named officially. Also, my family in Gambia will do small gathering to celebrate my coming to the world. My parents have choosen to do simple celebration. I see my father is doing a lots of paper work for me and paying a lots of bills. I like to do a lots of shopping. New clothes. Everthing must be pink. He also now doing a lots of house work like laundry, cleaning and cooking, giving me shower. My daddy is my servant. I can have him do anything i want. Isn't it fun? My mother takes care of me but I like to punish them. I do little wee wee and poooops so often just to disturb them to change my nappies and clothes. I also love to do little crying 3-4 times after midnight to wake my parents them. My mum breastfed me 6 times a day. My father act like a butler for me and mummy. I love punishing them every night. I was having so much time the other day when i wake them up at 1 am, 3 am and 5 am. Sooooo much fun. My father and mother don't know how to take care of me. I am their first child. I am educating them on how to be a parent. They are learning, but i probably need to spend years to teach.
Many people come welcome me. They say I look my daddy, my skin pink, eyes darkblue/greenish, eye browse. My hair little african curly hair and I have big african lips. Some people not sure what I look like. They say 'oh more white more african'. I tell them I belong to human race, but people are confused. They don't understand. These older people don't know much. |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |
