This is one of the groups that i want to see perform live. After the dead of Garnet Silk they are one of Reggae musicians that emerged and continues to send righteous messages to reggae lovers. Enjoy Taapa

Yes a big compacted family (29?) but greatly organized.
a very motivated band with wonderful salvation songs like "Dont Haffi dread /Call&Respond or Cease All Wars".
I met them 2001 in Tübingen /Germany with a great show & joys but what was more exciting was when Father Denroy stole the show by jumping on the stage like giving child a Sweet which is unusual for him then later on presenting MH& LMS on stage was incredible amazing.
KEEP ON YOUR MESSAGE LMS /MH!

Hi there !

Well I did it- MORGAN HERITAGE were amazin- I loved every minute of it and they helped me blow off some cobwebs that have been around me for some time. I had a ball- Danced all night.

Iwant to go to Banjul to see them next week but flights are so expensive right now.

I will be going to THE WORLD OF MUSIC AND DANCE FESTIVAL (womad) here in the UK on 26 July- there will be bands from all over the workd and I am going to have more fun !

Thanks for your best wishes

tapalapa ,remember you are in the real world .so don't follow music to try to get away from things. be real .morgan is doing his day job. musicains are hepocrats ,what they sing ,they do the opposite.i am not spoiling your fun ,but don't over do .sorry if i offend you.

Hi S,

I am in the real world- too much so- I work as a Community Support Worker on an alcohol team,It is emotionally draining.
I also work voluntary at a re cyling warehouse developing a shop in the Gambia. Shipping goods from the UK.

I am also a musician- having has some success with a Quali Band fromLahore, Pakistan BASHID JAVED SALAMAAT, and a percussion band from Manchester SAMBANGRA.
I have acted as an Agent for many bands from overseas.I have been on tour etc- I understand musicians- I am not like some of them- yes it is true that musicians do not always stand by what they sing about and they can act very arrogant at times.I am not one of them. Not all musicians are the same.During the summer, I have travelled with my music for eight years. I am taking a break and this is why I am exploring other social activities.
I dont usually go out although I go to WOMAD every year,
about 20 of us gather there to catch up with each other and have a fun time.
Other than that I work to save up to go abroad.

Please do not burst my bubble-

I will keep my feet on the ground S- Thanks for this wisdom.

Best wishes

I've Just sent my b/f the money to buy tickets for himself and his friend to go watch them as a b/day present. I hope they have a brilliant time and I REALLY wish I could be there too .

Yes Tapalapa they are a Great band (not that I've actually seen them live). Have to say I prefer my reggae/dancehall with a bit more edge though

I AM VERY FED UP AND DISAPPOINTED............MY FRIENDS AND HUNDREDS OF OTHER GAMBIAN PEOPLE ARRIVED AT BAKAU STADIUM ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT MORGAN HERITAGE WERE NOT PLAYING- THEY DID NOT GET THEIR MONEY REFUNDED.MANY PEOPLE ARE VERY VERY FED UP ABOUT THIS.

I HAVE E MAILED MORGAN HERITAGE AND TOLD ASKED THEM WHAT IS GOING ON...THEY ARE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS- THEY WERE BOOKED TO PLY BUT THE PROMOTOR CANCELLED IT THE WEEK BEFORE, SAYING THEY SHOULD COME IN SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER. MORGAN HERITAGE SEND THEIR SINCERE APOLOGIES.
BUT SAY IT IS THE PROMOTOR WHO HAS DONE THIS.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THE PROMOTOR FOR THIS CONCERT IS
OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION ????
