who can tell me what a captain mean in a married man's life? this applies to a close friend of mine. have a crack .

i though momodou or kondorong would atleast know the answer to this question but boy i am wrong. my close friend in gambia who is now a big man the civil service as disappoint me beyong comprehension . the guy married two months before me back in 2001 .now he has three wifes .yes T H R E E WIFES . i couldn't believe the story , so i call our close friend in birmingham who only told me yes ,our friend in the gambia married his latest wife just last month ,and joked now he is a captain . a man with two wifes is a couple ,with three is call a captain.
i think he as mess -up for now. |

What about 4 wives? What is he called? Is the man with more wives considered fortunate or unfortunate? Clever? or stupid? in Gambian culture.

it depends bev , you have your pick. i was just disappointed in him ,we were in the same university in london and then he left for the post . he is not stupid in the real sense may be selfish. |
