it happens that the oscar celebration are taking place today so what should gambia's own greatest actor win ? i mean our own yahya jilanka jammeh (the conqueror ) of all uncurable illnesses. i wonder if a kong will be an epitomy of his achievemnets for this years best actor.
i nominate him for best pretender if i am not too late.

| Dangerous stuff, Santanfara! Are you pleased that Forrest Whitaker got an Oscar for playing Idi Amin (must see that movie!)? Maybe when we are really old and grey a movie will be made about Mr Jammeh. |

bev ,lilly and inez ,i was at least expecting you ladies to say a congrajulation to helen mirren for winning the oscar for her role in acting her majesty the queen of England.
the queen is inviting helen for a diner in a later date .cheers queen . |

The Oscars doesnt interest me. I only go to the cinema 2 or 3 times a year at most. So far this year I have been once to see Babel, with Brad Pitt in. It was a very interesting film, very cinematic and intense.
I would like to see notes from a scandal with Judy Dench in it. If I find time I will see it.
I get very restless in the cinema if a film goes on a bit! My attention span is pretty poor and I usually need to go out to the toilet! If I try to watch a film at home on tv, I find I am thinking about school work and then I fall asleep just before the film ends!   |

| Want very much to see Queen, last king of scotland, notes on a scandal, babel - infact anything really! As you can guess, I never quite make it to the cinema. My film watching is either dvd or on the flight to and from banjul!! (as long as it's not astreus!). Big television watcher me - which means I am a fan of Helen Mirren... |
