Al-hassan,

Hope you do enjoy the observer. That's Jammeh's paper. enjoy the links before.

I follow your postings greatly. while amazed at your stance to defend reality, i am afraid that those that sympathise with jammeh, time and again, cannot truly see things.

Regards,
Yero.

Brother,
I suggest you ask the MD of who owns the Observer? I know the person.
Ofcause I enjoy reading the Obswerver. Is that a crime or should nobody read it?
Newspappers are here to be red. I do read all Gambian newspappers. It is also true that in the democratic countries political parties do own newspappers. When it comes to the Observer, it is not a state or party owned. The private gentleman who owns the Observer just happens to symphatise with APRC. Most of the Gambian online newspappers are with the opposition. That does not matter cause I read all of them. The point is, in the Gambia you also have Foroya. This is a typical opposition newspaper. The Point too is there. What do you want? Do you want us to boycut the Observer?

I think it is good to read both sides of the story, then somewhere in the middle is usually the truth!

When Gambia Discussion Fora come to taking national issues so very seriously and to the extent that a dialogue and discussion is fostered between government and concerned citizens of these Forums, Bantaba in Cyberspace and Gambia-L also vie at similar opinion polls – and measure success in terms of their impact on policy….etc.

Will those polls be conducted in neutral territory, I wonder?

Important question: What’s the distribution of each of these papers?

Pulling at everyone’s heart strings in the Point’s favour, the haunting picture of Deyda Hydara:

http://www.thepoint.gm/

In that poll we would be judging the effectiveness of delivering the message - and in each voter's case, the message that they would like to hear being pumped out.
Bantaba itself (to me) is no neutral ground, since it is from here that we get a lethal dose of Foroyaa’s bombardment on a very regular basis.

It's therefore no wonder that they score 39% here (assuming that some of ballot lovers and bullet haters (like al- Hassan and Lemon Gollum) didn't vote twice, in the case of al-Hass with both of his right hands.

I wouldn't put it past Gullam doing it twice, and laughing while he did it too ( sense of huma)

What say you Mr. Lemon K. Juice, about 3 for $5?

Omega, you missed my posting above. pick it up quick, cos i can't help your boredom. How am i able to forward a piece from a site i don't read?

Your interference in Gambian politics doesn't help you most of the time.Your comments against Susan Waffa Ogo were must un-called for, in fact that's an open 'biasness' from your end. That's why your branding of 'bias' becomes honey for me. information reaching me reveals that she quited, but being framed.

The pot calls the kettle black. What a comedy?

Have a great day Auntie Penda.

Yero I am not interested in Gambia politics to help myself. You must know the adage when you point your finger three fingers point back to yourself. Your amateur tabloid Journalism fails you sometimes. Susan Waff-Ogoo was not up to scratch whether she left voluntarily or was sacked it was time for her to move on. If your attitude is anything to go by I give thanx your not at the helm of Gambian politics otherwise any paper in oppositon to you would be banned. Then again its as if you fancy being a dictator yourself.

I think you should also look at the quote you posted on your signature from MLK and learn something from it. After all isn't it good to practice what you preach?

I wish Susan Waff-Ogoo well in her future endeavours.
