( I'll read & appreciate your poem later)
Lord Dalton,
I would, if I could, send you your supper through an internet link – only thing is that you would not be able to eat it the way that I hope you can digest news, views and information from some of the links that have accompanied my postings – just to keep you informed. I have felt the inadequacy of merely mentioning without providing any link, e.g. Chief Obafemi Awolowo or Kwame Nkrumah or Jomo Kenyatta, or Chaim Luzzatto or Samson Raphael Hirsch or many from the A-to Z of English, American, African and world literature that are familiar to me but not to my grandsons the oldest of whom will soon be reading Bantaba, since his father is Gambian; you understand that it’s because I realise this that I include links which are not irrelevant even if in your view they are either confusing or contribute to diminishing your understanding or grasp of what I am saying.
I’ll give you a little example:
Yesterday afternoon I went into that shop SOCKS on Götgatan to get a present for a little, six year old Swedish girl, Frida ( Swedish mother and father) and I am her granduncle. The owner who I thought was Chinese but turned out to be Korean, and very very polite and I’d add cultured, was a very interesting and informative person to talk to. We chatted for about twenty minutes and in the end he wrote this out for me in a very shapely and readable handwriting which indicates his respect for other people. He didn’t scribble like some doctors. He wrote the following:
FORMER PRESIDENT: Mr. PARK JUNG HEE 1961-1979. (He told me that the president was assassinated on 26th October, 1979 and that he was in Korea at the time - on a business trip. The president was assassinated by someone very close to him - I said, like Leon Trotsky......
We had discussed leadership and I had told him that Ghana and Korea were on the same level of development in 1952.
He said that a leader has to have VISION, and narrated how the Korean leader ( who I suppose was regarded as a military dictator in the West) constructed a Road which was 500 kilometres long – and which facilitated the transportation of raw materials from the interiot etc.) He also emphasised FOOD SECURITY!
Is it wonder that incumbent African presidents are often afraid of their number 2? (Yahya’s is a woman and perhaps therefore less fearful.) Mr. Park Jung Hee was assassinated by someone that near to him.
I promised him that I would look this up in the Internet and was ashamed to say that I knew much less about Korea, than I do about China, India, Japan, Thailand, Tibet and Malaysia.

He encouraged me to buy half of what I intended from his shop and I had to leave – because the Candle lighting time was approaching at the speed of light. Perhaps Dr. Thomas who I mentioned is less relevant than the links I posted about Peter Duesberg, which I hereby post again – to remind you that the diabolical AIDS is a very sophisticated illness which knows how to resist even the laser guided medicinal systems. But if indeed it is divine punishment then who can cure it? Who?

I’ll try to keep this very short. It should be only one word if only such a word existed. One good word .
I read the Torah Portion (Parashas Misphatim, i.e. Exodus chapter 21 verse1 to chapter 24 verse 18) and Haphtarah. And I won’t give you any links. If you want to know what Parashat Misphatim is all about you will have to get a copy of the Torah or search the net. There’s so much to learn and DO in our lifetime and we never complete our learning and doing. Yet it is in our life in this world that we have the opportunity of serving the Almighty.
If you download the Yahoo or Google toolbars, you can search directly on the page by highlighting the words you search for. What a wonderful and time-saving facility!
Apart from reading the notes of my Stone Chumash, I also read the Torah Portions with the aid of “CHUMASH with RASHI”, “SFORNO’s Commentary on the Torah”, and complemented them with Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin’s “Insights in the Torah” and there I came over two passages of explication (which increased my understanding) and those two passages, momentarily made me think of Yahya Jammeh and the Aids cure, and also of Karamba and sister Omega. (N:B: Karamba and Sister Omega separately, not together.)
I will quote the passages in question, and I’m almost sure that you are not going to stop reading here:
SABRE! Be patient Dalton, you’ll have to wait. Let me start with Karamba’s (Sister Omega’s comes last and is about Ethiopia)
Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin (1917-1979) writes on page 239-40 of “Insights in the Torah”:
“ My son Elchanan, former Rabbinic chief Justice of Zaladok, presently residing in Jerusalem, explains that the Torah fully comprehends the thoughts and plans of man and is well aware that “ every product of the thought of his heart is but evil always.” (Bereshis/ Genesis 6: 5). Today’s slave who complains bitterly about his enslavement and speaks in high tones about equality, “ the brotherhood of nations”, justice, and the like, is especially capable of being transformed, even in the morning after gaining his freedom, into a tyrannical and oppressive master, estranged from every ideal for which he struggled yesterday. King Solomon said, “For three things is the earth disquieted….. for a slave who becomes a king.” (Mishlei 30:21, 22)
The history of the nations of the world teaches us how strong a basis there is for the Torah’s fears. In our own day we see how oppressed serfs who usurped control of their government treat their new “slaves”, scorning all talk of equality, justice, and integrity which they themselves espoused before their ascension to power. The Torah sternly warns against this, recording it as the first mitzvah mentioned directly following the Ten Commandments.”
AS Sforno observes, “The law determines legal ownership. Without civil laws which define the parameters of possession one has no way of identifying the true ownership of any item or object. Hence the prohibition against coveting that which belongs to my neighbour can only be properly understood and observed if I know what is legally his.” ( At which point I though of a person’s honour, which surely belongs to him. Or even when somebody says "my wife"(Smile). Anyway, Rabbi Sorotzkin writes on page 240 of “Insights in the Torah – SHEMOS”, his comments on “If you buy” (21:2):
” The first instruction that Israel received from Moses servant of God, dealt with obligations to treat the slave with kindness and mercy. This sheds light on the “Midrash Aggadah” which tells us that after Moses fled from Pharaoh, he ruled Ethiopia for forty years. We might ask why Moses accepted this position. It could not have been arrogance or love of power, for the Torah testifies that he was the humblest man on earth (Bamidar/Numbers 12:13). Neither could his motive have been greed, for no one could have been less materialistic than he. When he worked for Jethro as a shepherd, he accepted only the food he ate as payment, and he did not accrue flocks of his own. What was it then, that moved him to accept the crown of the kingdom of Ethiopia? Chazal tells us that God did not place Israel’s redemption and rule in Moses’ hands until He had tested him with sheep. The same was true for King David. When everyone saw that they were shepherds who possessed the characteristics of mercy and understanding, God allowed then to rule over His people Israel.( Shemos Rabbah 2:3; see Oznayim La Torah to Bereshis 37:2)"
The Rabbi continued: " MAN, TOO ACTS IN A SIMILAR FASHION. WHEN A NEW DRUG IS DEVELOPED, THE GOVERNMENT FORBIDS ITS USE ON PEOPLE UNTIL IT HAS UNDERGONE EXTENSIVE ANIMAL RESEARCH. IF IT IS PROVEN HARMLESS TO ANIMALS, IT IS TRIED ON MONKEYS WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO MEN. ONLY THEN ARE EXPERIMENTS ON HUMAN BEINGS GRADUALLY INTRODUCED. IF THERE ARE N O HARMFUL RESULTS, AND A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE ARE ACTUALLY CURED, THE DRUG IS FINALLY DECLARED LEGAL FOR HUMAN USE.
So too with Moses and David. Even after they proved themselves as shepherds , they still had to undergo further testing to make sure that they would be good leaders for people, whose needs are greater than ( that) of animals. The prerequisites of leadership include tremendous talent and a good heart to know how to rule properly. Thus we find that before the reins of leadership over all of Israel were handed over to King David, even after he proved himself as a shepherd, God arranged fro him to command four hundred men: “Every one that was in distress and everyone that was in debt, and everyone that was discontented, gathered themselves to him, and he became captain over them” (I Shmuel 22:2). Then he ruled over six hundred men (1 Samuel 23:13), and after Saul died he ruled for seven years at Chevron. Only after all these trials were the monarchy given to him and to his seed after him, who follow in his ways. Thus we can understand why David was anointed king during Saul’s lifetime, rather than waiting until after Saul died. By being anointed, he learned the strategies of government and demonstrated his wisdom in bearing the reins of kingship”
About Moses: “Divine Providence arranged that he would rule for forty years (the time Chazal says is necessary to grasp difficult concepts) over the kingdom of Ethiopia, which exported slaves to the whole world. This allowed him to study slavery from its roots. Only after passing this test was he given command over the “kingdom of priests” servants of God and not servants of servants. By this time he knew how to convey to his people the evil inherent in slavery, and that even one’s “slave2 must be treated with kindness and mercy.”
I should just add to the Rabbi’s words and that is that these days, the tests having been made on monkeys, next stage is to test them on select Africans and then, on others of the human race. Hard but also true. Fact.

Uncle Corne;
enjoy the links above. one of the best stories i enjoyed about Prophet Moses. To be honest with you, i am a fan of prophet Moses greatly, and i have adopted a special prayer of him, which i have taken upon myself to read time and again, for so long a time.
Great piece above, and i love it. Call me not "lord", for i am no one other than a shepherd, the son to a shepherd/farmer.
The poem is yours entirely, and don't even share it with father christmas Santa.
Have a good day; will reply more as time permits me.
Always, Dalton. |

Thanks very much for this one (and this website) Shepherd Dalton.
A Muslim is supposed to believe in that which was revealed to the greatest of Israel’s prophets, MOSES! Doesn't Cheikh Anta Diop suggest that the Fullahs/Fulani are one of the lost tribes of Israel?
If you care for your sheep then you could care for the people of the Gambia and are qualified to be a leader.
Of course we all know the Islamic legends about Moses and his teacher al-Khidr. It is said that al-Khidr is still available to those who may be fortunate to meet him. Perhaps people who have a shepherd's character, someone like a brother's keeper?

Aware of this story and the part where Khidr requests Moses to be quiet and to never bring up/ initiate a matter or ask a question, I had a somewhat similar relationship with my best friend Dr. Michael/ Mikhail Tunkel who I saw at least once a week for approximately nine years (from 1996) and went to a few Pesach and Purim services with him and most Yom Kippur services during that period - and could you believe it, that this man (like my uncle) born of Lithuanian parents in Harbin, China, which is where he grew up (Played Chinese piano and had a portrait he himself made of Paul Robeson) taught me most of what I know about China – since he had an extreme admiration for the Chinese people and spoke of China incessantly – and about how Mao, united the country. He made Aliyah to Israel in 1950 at the age of thirty four, (after the Communists took over in China) and lived there till 1983 when - (can not live in a warm climate and even zero degrees was “hot” for him) so he emigrated to Sweden, in 1983.
He spoke at length about Vladimir Jabotinsky…..
Well, he never asked me about me. And so it was. Also like in the Sufi story of Moses and Khidr, I never initiated any line of questions (A friend made a 90 minute video interview with him) but I myself never asked him anything that he himself did not take up. And could you believe it, that although I saw him for an average of twice a week during all those years, he never told me about the SINAI or SUEZ War of 1956 or the SIX DAY WAR, or the War of Attrition, or the Yom Kippur War. I waited in vain for him to talk about these wars but did not press him, because it’s possible that he had not taken part in any of the fighting (which could have been an embarrassment (he was a dentist) I have met his daughter Ina, and her husband Shmuel, his granddaughter Annat, and of course he spoke incessantly of his great grandchildren especially Tal (which means dew).
He knew Ehud Olmert's father who is also from CHina.... ( smile)

He passed out of this life after securing a place for himself to be buried in Jerusalem where it is believed the resurrection will begin. Please forgive and if it please you, ignore this last link of the posting, dear Dalton: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=The+importance+of+being+buried+in+Jerusalem&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
I am now going to read that poem. At first when I read the title, I took cover, but now I am more encouraged and there will be no need to pass a fatwa on you.
(If I did one on Berewa?) Oh boy…..
But I do not practice cruelty, not even to animals, although I’m not a shepherd and I’ve only had dogs and cats…..

Yes your right Cornelius Fula's are one of the lost tribes of Israel, and there are other lost tribes of Israel in Africa. This only goes to confirm that the State of Israel is a bogus state. Because in reality Israel refers to a people and not a geographical area.
