It is the same concern around the world that young muslims can be indoctrinated and lure into such evil acts. Young people are extremely vulnerable to such extremism. These evil so called Muslims are always looking for fragile and unstable youths to convince into doing something against human decency.
I hope and pray that our young men and women will have the guidance and be protected from such evil. This is all the more reason we need to reach out to our brothers and sisters and educate each other. We know we have some very young people out in the world without parental guide. Such youths could fall prey to evil doers. I hope the story is not true
Please lets continue to look out for each other and offer advices where necessary...

I have a belief that if heaven was such a wounderful place for sucide bombers,then Bin laden would have been the first to engage himself and his family in it.
How can someone foolishly convince anyone that if you kill people you will go to heaven?Which heaven? Any religion that allows killing innocent people be it islam, christianity, budhism,jewish or any religion,it is a religion of SATAN but not our DEAR LOVING GOD.

A Gambian As a Terrorist what a shock !
But taking earlyer censure on the youths is rootless ,why not go after they sympathizer (the mentors),this is a chain reaction if we don't break early we most take the blemish , its easy to brainwash a adolescences and that is exactly what is going on in the backyard ,accessorily their creed are firmly that they have more adeptlying in the holy book better than their forefathers or calling it a innovation, so adults are like ready made ,no need to maintenance them.
I real don't get where all this ...is coming from because Islam has being around quite some time now , but this new bolt is just a reflections toward Islam ,so some thing most sort out here in order
to get the real name of Islam and not use it for a political aviation's! |

I wonder if Brother Basiru is charge because of his association with these folks? I know in the United States some of our brothers were arrested with other local muslims that the FBI were targeting for a long time. These brothers too owns a grocery store with lots of Islamic goods being sold in the store.
The way the arrest was carried in the media was very misleading and these brothers ended up being charged with other minor crimes. I have my reservation on Basiru's terror involvement at this juncture until full details are release.
At the same time, I am very concern about some of our brothers who are so much hook up in the Islamic religion. Some of them are really brain washed and case in point is a friend and former school associate living in Canada who associates with muslim converts who are angry and are looking for a safe heaven to express their anger. These people most probably converts to Islam so they can fight against their original countries.
It is very unfortunate and I would not be surprise if such brothers land themselves in trouble because of the length they are willing to go.
Islam is a beautiful religion and its message is so powerful and convincing that people can use it to dominate society. These people have political motives beyond religion. It is really the duty of Islamic scholars and all muslims to speak up and denounce any form of hatred. NOT IN OUR NAME we must say loud and clear.... |
