Hi sister, I doubt many will fall off in shock. Nothing surprising these days coming from the source of surprises, what else?

Personally, at least speaking for myself, I just wonder why this choice, since there are many far better eligible candidates for the post. NB: When I say better choices, I mean by hundredfolds.

Anyway, there's a saying that goes, "after so much beating the skin goes numb", that how I'll sum up the issue.

Jah's Peace from the Son of Haileh.

Sister

I will leave you with this mandinka saying:

NYO LONG KUNDA, KONTONG NYINING KARR TI JEH. ( In the land of acquaintances, they dont ask each other their last names). It might be a suprise to you but not Gambians who follow events.

Jahumpa should have been Speaker long time a go. I believe she should have been Vice president given all that she did for him. This is a demotion given all the years of loyalty and sacrifice.

She grew up in an opposition household against PPP but were more than compensated for diplomatic appointments in London under Jawara when her father dissolved his party and joined PPP. It was Mohammedan School against Boys High School, but the latter won. Better still it was Teacher against student but the student won. Thats why they say in Africa, "If a child washes his hands, he may eat with Kings"
