Hugo Chavez is rising to higher clouds of dictatorship with sweeping powers. Mr Jammeh is his friend; someone Jammeh admires and likes to copy. Al Jazeera followed recent developments in Hugo Chavez's Venezuela where he is in full grips of the people and laws just like Jammeh. Will this be the same for Gambia ?

Jammeh has already assumed so much powers from the National Assembly and it is most likely that the Majority APRC NAMs will give him some more powers. My prediction for the next 5 years is to see Jammeh's tenure of Office being extended to 7 years.

That is possible. Jammeh's excess bid for power will one day turn catastrophic to himself. My added prediction is that Mr Jammeh becomes overweight with bully powers he will land himself in serious trouble. By the time Gambians open their eyes from the dream world of Mr Jammeh's wonderful Gambia, everyone would be in the deep woods. Sad though, but indeed the making of Gambians.
