Karamba shame on you and me for having a President I qoute "In real sense, he is UNCIVILISED!! How can a normal person involve people to vote for him and then he turns into a wild beast to kill and maim those same people". If the president is UNCIVILISED what about those whom he rules? |

Ebra, You are thinking far too low. What has anyone to HATE JAMMEH for. You miss the point. We are not on the issue of LOVE and HATE. You in your narrow perception want us to accept the illegal regime for what it is.
On my part, I have no energy to describe someone FOOL. If you are happy to call anyone not prepared to accept what you want us to I wish to be called a fool if that is what it takes to be a fool. You take pride of your brand of wisdom. I am not also sure if you hold sufficient respect for the Holy Prophet by comparing him to Jammeh who is something you don't know. You are in for the biggest disappointment in life if you choose to be dictated by sentiment rather than allow reason to guide you. Live up Ebra, Live Up. HAVE A VERY NICE TIME TO YOURSELF. The space is yours. Clever man. Man of wisdom!!! First and second disciple of Imam, Prophet, Angel, whatever Jammeh. Take it. All up to you.

Ebra,
I am not ashame to see Jammeh as president of Gambia. I am rather sorry for the multitude who are being deceived. I am more sorry for YOU Ebra for not being able to distinguish dust and grain. Do you know how much money Jammeh is spending to keep lobbyists sell his image. You Ebra and all good citizens of Gambia should be shedding bitter tears day and night for the accident that befalls your nation!! It is a pitty that you rather than fighting to free the mass of people cheated by a bunch you call your leaders, you stay behind that keyboard happy to insult anyone wanting to see sanity prevail. I am too sad for you. You really need help |

These posting could be someone's thought, not necessary mine. Karamba, let me tell you is you ( Karamba, Kobo, Kond, Sant, Madi, Momodou, Koto Kayjatta and others) whose writings gives me the will to be part of bantaba. I have positive thinking, I am in no way connected to Jammeh nor approve his way of ruling the nation especially in terms of human rights and corruption. But think people could still have these kind of feelings. Calm down be patient and exchange issues nicely without been harsh. Thanks though, I still welcome all names and criticisms sincerely. |

Karamba Please let Ebra express his feelings, i think the Bantaba is a democratic forum. Every man is entitled to his opinion. If you can convince him fine or else leave him in his own world and belief. |

“Lets be real, the president's life is at stake at any point in time, so he should be compensated enough to at least cover the risk involved” EBRA
Can you please elaborate more on this sentence? Are you telling me that the lives of ordinary Gambians are not at stake at any point in time either by the NIA or by a simple disease that can be easily cured if government hospitals have medicine? No body forced Yaya to be the president and forced him to take all the risk that comes with being the president of an African country. Also talking about risk, maybe every Gambian soldier should be compensated for simply being a soldier. The risk of being a soldier in the Gambia is really enormous, one can be accused of something one is totally innocent of; and before the hands of justice can interfere you end up in Mile 2 with broken ribs. To elaborate further on compensation and risk, are you aware of the fact that the monthly salary of the soldiers cannot accommodate all of their basic life necessities. For example rent, clothing, school fees, transportation, food and many other things. I think if Jammeh is to be compensated for taking the risk of being a president, then the military should paid enough to cover most of their basic needs. “Jammeh is investing in Gambia and not diverting money to foreign countries. We should stop asking were he get his money from”. EBRA
How do you know whether Jammeh is not diverting money into foreign banks and also Jammeh is a public servant, we have all the rights to question were his income is coming from?

Dear,
In no way do I intend to minimise Ebra or any good compatriot of Bantaba. If by occasion Ebra and anyone feels offended for whatever I write, I tender a huge APOLOGY for that. It is beautiful that the bulk of positive thinkers like Maddis, Kond, ect will not let fire grow on the grounds of Bantaba. We must all submit to the supreme blessing of our creator that troubles can be crushed before they blow out of proportion. One day when we descend on planet earth from Bantaba in cyberspace and proudly walk the streets of Gambia, what a joy that will be!! I am with you all even those whose views differ. Let's stay on. For the broken hearts, let's offer them sincere prayers in our silent moments so that they get free at last from the dominion of Satan. We are brothers and sisters in this wonderful forum of Bantaba in cyberspace. Cheers to to you all. A good handshake to you Ebra. Thank you for the courage. Well done Madiba for stepping in to crush the fire before it burns. One of you may be the chosen one among the lot. On that occasion remember the critics on Bantaba and stay on serving as you now wish to be served. |
