Another eye-opener

On the eve of the gruesome murder of an activist of the highest caliber, the murderer and his gang of thugs are busy celebrating and chanting few miles away from where the mayhem took place, making the whole thing as a coincidence, at the backs of their minds mocking the very shocking and sad incident. It saddens one that such an inauguration supposedly to do with protecting Gambians, and upholding to the glorious Gambian Constitution will be once more subjected to a fetish ritual by Jammeh and his desperate cronies. But Jammeh is not alone, and was never alone from the beginning. Very often, most of his run-away associates can be with us crying for the jobs or positions they lost-not to anger the few who were committed to serving their country truly and are still exposing the crumbling tyrannical administration’s evils, time and again.

To those that truly see boring callers; I ask if such a callous thing was meted to your father, mother, sister or brother, how you would feel. In a hadith associated with Prophet Muhammad (Peace and love of Allah be upon him for eternity) that when a true believer sees a bad thing; he/she should remove it with his/her hand, and where he/she cannot with his/her hand; he/she should remove it with his/her words, and where he/she cannot by his/her words; he/she should pray to God and be silent about it, which is the weakest point that the individual can get.

Like Son of Haile once put it, I too fear to become a boring caller.

But the current state of the Gambia reminds me of a Fulani proverb that grandma always told me, thus: Monkeys surrounded by their enemies and they surround them selves.

Rest in Peace Deyda & Koro!
Rest in peace our student matyrs!!
Rest in peace to all those that died innocent!!

When will it end?
When true Gambians are ready to redeem by all means necessary.

In the struggle,
Yero

Uncle Santafara,

Good momentum of contribution. I am amazed at your wide variety and versatile know-how. I have no problem being a praise-singer for the good and righteous. You, among the many Malcolm flag bearers have a true admirer in this forum and the genarality of life. A hadith associated with nabi Muhammad (p & L of God be upon him); when someone pronounce love for you, you should respond "i love you too." This is to reciprocate your prior open pronouncement.

Kons, shorty as i fondly call and imagine him is following the trends, regarding a previous posting about seeking power and getting back the kabu empire. I know little about sare-bojo, famous for living fulani charms. I belong to Malcolm's and Alagi M Jobe's school of thoughts, so we go the dua' way. We do call on God with all his beautiful names.

Back to the topic, already things are dragging, but day will break soon. (inshallahu)

Have a good time, and be safe where ever you may be now and the rest of life.

MANSA KILING NA JAMANO BUKA DOUNIYA BANG.

What goes up must come down. It shall come to pass. As it was written so shall it be done.

My philosophy in life is that when you walk up the stairs of success, be nice to the people you pass along the way, so that when you fall, they will stretch their hands as a cushion. These same people you pass on your way up will be the ones that see you on your way down.

The momemnt you start going up, you have automatically set in motion the process of coming down although many only count the steps they took going up. For every action, there is a reaction.

Like one Senegalese musician once said: SO BUGEH KHAM FULLA YALLA TOLLU, SETAL FINGA TOLLU YALLA. ( If you want to know how important you are to God, look at how important God is to you.)

I have heard stories of seeing the stars in daylight when you tie the knots

However, am not sure if any one ever saw one. Well may be you did.

You means my bad fulla? Sorry, but no means i am joking with it!
I love this Lengua as well as people belonging to it
And as you know We Serrakhouleh/Sonikeh are legumes in language
(We are not like a Baddibunkou / Lemone Time)
I used to speak this Language very well when i was a child
that was a time when my Father use to took me to his Fulani friends
around our village when we come vacation from Serra Leon
but for so many years without speaking it made me lost some.
And have you forgotting that I am your Uncle and you speak to me like that

Bro. Shaka, good to see you around, but your typing hand gets too slow now a days. A punch from M-Ali will produce a whole galaxy, and i agree. Also, the firm belief in the notion of the fetish, and when the skin of the animals bite their bodies, make them uncomfortable and half-dosed, they see stars at mid-day. I met people who actually believe in this. Not my school of thought.

Kons., "joleng nyakeh", not my hand first.

Mbay, truly no hithes on the previous pular usage.

Have a good day!!

You are right. A left hook from Ali will not only make one see the stars in day light but all the planets.

You dont need a telescope.

I really liked the expression by the Senegalese musician...
if you want to know how important or where you stand to God, ask how important God is to you...
Kons and all -- Im missing your list of proverbs. Hope all is well

The law an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
