There is a law of development which determines that in every process two forces operate in conflicting relation. They grow and expand with time. One may be truth and the other false. Their existence in one situation is what Karl Marx recognised as the Unity and Struggle of Opposites. It takes time before the reality manifests, usually at a moment when the contradictory forces heighten up to breaking point. It is simply that point NIA reached. The changes taking place are for the worse and not in any way as result of competent intervention by a master maker. The new level of contradictions will be manifested when those who served the NIA all their working life and now sacked start spilling the beans and being rounded to settle at Mile 2 central prisons. Please help yourself to read more about the nature of contradictions and that will help you appreciate and predict with precision what is coming next as reality manifests in the inevitable scheme of changes. These are universal principles hardly beaten.

Anyway, I don't think of the classical theories only. E.g. Alfred Adler said some interesting things about the neurotic character of the main contradiction - the one between men and women.
