A nation's affairs cannot be handled by a single individual or a group of loyalist who treat everybody else as irresponsible and unpatriotic. Gambia belongs to all Gambians. The President must begin to understand that he cannot succeed in running the affairs of the nation without the support of the country's work force. The worst thing that can happen to the government and the nation is for its productive work force to lose complete morale and sit idly only to collect salaries at the end of the month.
Mr. President, how many attorney generals, other secretary of states, and security personnel did you hire and fire in the last five years? Are all these people incompetent or unpatriotic? Did your frequent hiring, firing, and rehiring not tell all about your own inability to work with a team of decent and honest citizenry? Haven't you in fact demonstrated that you only keep people who are either a yes sir servants or have no ambition to be productive? The ball is in your court sir, history is in the making and you decide what group of leaders in Africa and around the world would your legacy fit well.
