ANOTHER GAS EXPLOSION VICTIM DIES

Modou Gassama, a 25 year old is the latest victim to die from the gas explosion that racked the residents of Kanifing Estate.
Mr. Gassama was pronounced dead on Wednesday afternoon at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital.
He was among the eighteen people who sustained severe burns following the gas explosion at the home of Ousman Njie on October 30th. His dead has raised the death toll to six people.
Gassama was a striker for the Kanifing Estate Football Club. A cousin brother, Omar Njie described the dead of Gassama as a sad moment for the family.
His body was laid to rest at the Kanifing South Cemetery on Thursday at 2pm.
