Hello! I am a volunteer supporting a young Gambian who has been in detention in the UK for the past six months. He would like to apply for bail, but does not have a surety. I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of support or surety for this young man.

Deece, Why is the boy detained? Can you give us more details.
definately more details, what is the embassy doing, has he overstayed his visa, if that is the case they normally put gambians on a plane and send the home but the do not detain them. definatey more details. Illegal entry, try legal aid where is he being held, remand centre, detention place or prison
