See link below. Effectively, UDP and NADD should just accept it as well. With Jawara's endorsement, the case is closed. Like the mandinka's say: KEBBA FALA KUMA, SI SIMA YA DUWA. NI MANG FENG SO TO, BARI IKA KU JAMA SATA NO LEH. ( A poor and an unfortunate person should pray to live long. Atleast if not for any hope of riches, you become a custodian of history.)
Who would have dreamt of Jawara being deposed in the gambia and then congratulate him. Many big time PPP supporters who have died must be turning in their graves right now.

| I think sir Desperate is better staying off Gambian politics, after his overstay gave birth to what we are going through. i am checking the achrives from some of his speeches after the military takeover, especially when he was interviewed by BBC-on board the ship to Dakar. |

It was the USS Lamore County.
I can remmber him saying that "... no i am not depressed... as the commander in chief the soldiers are complaining of conditions of service which includes bad food..laugh....infact the army recently had a sizeable salary increase....".
I think he was not getting the right intelligence then. It was not a demonstration for conditions of service. USS Lamore has become NCP's supposedly party logo(a ship) that never made IT to the shores of statehouse. Unfortunately for them, when their ship(USS Lamore) did dock, it took away both Jawara and NCP. It was if you like KULUKANG SUMUNA .
The SOSO LASO, a trademark of NCP, which is a game played by kids in which any one who is present is hit with a soft ball whether you want to play or not finally materialise with AFPRC which dislodged all parties including NCP. Could NCP have been foretelling their own demise? |
