Very very scary indeed. He is a product of Jammeh's tyranny. Sadly, there are those who have lived with it so long that they have accepted it as being normal.
Change must occur next week otherwise... |
Justice must be served as impunity brings more repression and corruption! |

| Man am not the product of Jammeh's tranny, I just like to view the avatar and enjoy looking and laughing at it. I am a simple guy who like to share my opinions with others. I like constructive debates but if one comes to trample on my fundamental right which is freedom of speech, then I have all the means to lambast back at the person concern. I am not a rubber stamp in the sense anything you say I node, nooo way. Kayjatta saying that my statement is undemocratic. What is a democratic statement? |

EBRA:
Certainly you have a right to free speech ( First Ammendment Right ), but every right comes with some responsibility. While you are enjoying your right to free speech you must allow the opposition to enjoy their right to political freedom ( to associate or dis-associate and dissent). If you think like this you would not have called for the banning of the opposition parties among many other controversial statements you made lately. To call for the baniinig of the opposition is an UNDEMOCRATIC STATEMENT. Do you see my point ? Your denial of the existence of democracy and your insistence that someone show a PERFECT DEMOCRACY is very characteristic of dictators and their henchmen.Remember both Jammeh and Gaddaffi used to dismiss democracy as a mere western concept and ridicled that American and British democracies are also imperfect. They may be right but that should not be an excuse to perpetuate the injustce of dictatorship. I am also concerned that you seem not to be honest with your feelings. Actions speak louder than words . All your actions indicates a sympathy (and admiration ) for Jammeh and APRC even though you continue to deny your allegiance to the dictatorship. You should not be ashamed of your political opinion. Remember , it is your absolute right to associate with any party of your choosing. But then if you are from Jarra , I will let you go for all my efforts shall lay futile.

Kayjatta, thanks for your reply. I am never scare to tell the truth. Yes I am from Jarra Jassong and never been a Jammeh supporter. I did campaigned for the UDP candidate for Jarra East 1997 elections. My uncle was the UDP candidate and he won, I was bold enough to be both his counting agent and a polling agent during those harsh period. None of my family members has ever been Jammeh sympatizer, though many attempts had been made by Baba Jobe for my uncle to be part of them but to no avail. How can I support Jammeh when my little brother of 14yrs was molested, tortured and detained for couple of days for no crime but only a subscriber to freedomnewspaper. Myself is on the list of wanted people of the so called freedomnewspaper's informants. Remember, I am just saying my view points and trying to exchange/gain ideas of the most alternative way to govern. It does not really mean that, I meant those statements of banning the opposition. These are mere thought and I guess you understand me too.
