For The Gambia Our Homeland I challenge you to start considering a new leaf and new chapter post elections 2006. There are some visible signs of progress, massive developments and infrastructures as Jammeh's greatest achievements that must be sustained and the other alliances have certain priorities where Jammeh is considered unforgivably very weak on them for e.g Law and Order (Justice/Security), Education, Economy, Agricuture, Anti-corruption, Private sector development, democracy, etc. Also all the parties have varied good packages in stock from their manifestos respectively, therefore can we reconcile and harmonise the programmes together for progress and a better Gambia.

Lets start pondering on if Jammeh, Darboe or Halifa wins and how to progress for peace and stability?

We could start from this Observer editorial under http://allafrica.com/stories/200608310824.html and consider what to offer to our nation as Gambians for national development, peace and stability.

To add to above, this challenge is important to us because one of the greatest assets we have in this country is our peace and tranquillity in the interests of patriotism and for the love of the motherland.

Furthermore its important for us to start a re-thinking process now for the way forward post elections 2006, share our thoughts or any idea contemplated with optimism or pessimism (note: pessimists can forward alternatives and resolutions) to nurture and sustained those great assets of peace and stability with meaningful socio-economic developments towards 5years or more i.e the next 30years.

PEACE!
