Do I detect a small but significant policy change here ?
[Assuming that there is a "printers error" in the first line of the Foroyaa article which reads Tuesday 10th AUGUST (?) should it be September (?) if you read this piece in Foroyaa the date shows 10th September.

" the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Gambia Police Force, David Kujabie," is now seemingly at liberty to give more information than before,BUT exact location of those arrested should also be given,by the PRO,who may not know himself and therefore cannot give that information, MAYBE a case of lack of police departmental communication, if that is so, then in MY opinion, that should also be examined by the relevant ministry.
(see link to this other topic: http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13394)
The actions of the Police are fully explained here,it MAY well be that SOME of the youths arrested MAY have been previously involved in activities that," the place has been a controversial place where many people are always getting harassed either by stealing or fighting." However the current location of those youths arrested was not given by David Kujabie, except to say "can find them with the police."
" the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Gambia Police Force, David Kujabie, told this reporter that it is clear to everyone that the place has been a controversial place where many people are always getting harassed either by stealing or fighting. “As police, we are here to stabilize and maintain peace at all times. Therefore whatever can create a problem to society, we will take charge to tackle it,” said Police PRO Kujabi. When asked about the whereabouts of those arrested, he said that all those arrested are in police custody and whoever wants to see them can find them with the police."

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
