"The Hand of Fate"
Invitation to a PRIVATE SCREENING of the film as part of the Europe Tour of “The Hand of Fate”:

Time: 8:00p.m Sharp.
The Private Screening will culminate with a Question and Answer Session with the Producer/Director of the film.
The Children and Community Initiative for Development in collaboration with the Mandingmorry Foundation for Performing Arts (MANFOPA) presents a human rights film “The Hand of Fate’’. The film explores the theme of early marriage, girl’s education and its negative effects on the development of young girls in Africa. It poses questions in an attempt to find some answers to this cultural phenomenon.
"The Hand of Fate" is based on the book written by renowned Gambian Playwright and Threatre Director Mrs. Janet Badjan Young and Produced & Directed by Ibrahim Ceesay with Gambia’s finest and top-class actors and production crew, is anticipated to be the biggest 100% Gambian film to make it for international screening. The film has been nominated for the African Oscars Awards (NAFCA) 2013 for Best Director and Best Actor and has been screened and premiered in Gambia, Ethiopia, Sweden and Norway.
