Justice Minister lamin Jobarteh fired!!!!

It was another head rolling at Gambia’s state House with Justice Minister Lamin Jobarteh being the latest victim.
Appointed last year as part of latest entrants in Jammeh’s government, sacked justice minister has served merely one-year three months in the portfolio at time of his dismissal. High Court’s Amie Joof is appointed to fill Jobarteh’s boots a release from Jammeh’s government says. -

I couldnt independently verify that the duo are arrested. In the Gambia, such won't be even a surprise....Find below another one being sworn in by Jammeh and the way that Jammeh is addressing her. She is a legal mind and cannot get it that Jammeh is tellling her that she will be jailed....chei waye Gambia!
Clearly, Jammeh is fighting forces beyond can be seen by the naked eye. Here is the man again just throwing "stuff" and to call it garbage would be an underestimation.
How can he not just get it? You are addressing your work mates. None of them is your slave. Who does he think he is?
As far as I am concerned the wrong man is Jammeh and the devil in him cannot just swallow his pride in accepting reality. I think there is a better word for the level of insanity. The man is simply complex in his mind, so full of it that his rhetorics are just mere nonsense.
Aight yaw, 99 days for you, and the 1 day for Gambians will certainly arrive. Until then, keep talking about people risking going to jail.

EX AG JOBARTEH, SG JAMMEH MUST APPEAR IN COURT OR BE RELEASED TODAY
"Sources have confirmed to Foroyaa that both the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice Momodou LaminJobarteh, who was relieved of his cabinet portfolio on Monday,20 May 2013 and the Solicitor General and Legal Secretary, Pa Harry Jammeh, have been arrested and detained by state security officials.
According to sources close to the family of the former Justice Minister, he was arrested by state security officials two days after his removal from office. The sources added that they could not get access to him as they do not know where he is. Similarly, a source close to the family of the former Solicitor General, who was also removed alongside the Minister and Attorney General, told Foroyaa that he was arrested and detained since Wednesday,22 May. The source added that the family could not access him.
Editors Note: The first litmus test before the Minister for Communication and Information Technology is to have the operation of Taranga FM, Standard and The Daily News restored. That of the current Minister of Justice is to ensure that the 72 hours limit for detention without court appearance be observed. Justice is waiting to be seen to be done. The papers will report the developments."
