By Modou Sanyang just read this on the www.thepoint.gm newspaper. "The lawyers for the seven alleged March 21 coupists are contemplating applying to the High Court for the striking out of the case brought against the seven as a result of the lack of a counsel for one of the accused, Private Nying.
Private Nying has been charged alongside others with the offence of concealing an act purportedly designed to overthrow the government of the Gambia. However since the start of the trial, Private Nying has been without a lawyer to represent him." please read the rest of the article.
Surely this must come to some conclusion, what a shambles. lack of counsel, or is someone to scared to take the case. I do not believe that there is no lawyer in Gambia for this case.
