Nick d made a comment on this web page:

"Lets see he freed the printing presses and allowed the common folk to read books. He ended the practice of jailing people for years and years with no bail before trial.
Those are reasons to cheer a man."

I am NOT Nick d,but his words do remind me of something

I am originally from Leicester and then lived for 18 years very close to York Minster.
I think it is very exciting they have found his body, but I do think he should be returned to York for burial.

It appears that you are at odds with the clergy of York Minster, although you may be one of the 11,000 who signed a petition for Richard 111 to be buried in York,a bit of a small section of the total population of Yorkshire:"Yorkshire and The Humber had a population of 5.3 million in mid-2010" Never mind you win some you lose some.

See what you mean, Lord Farquaad has more than a passing resemblance to the portrait of Richard 111 that is always used, just out of interest I have never seen another image of Richard 111 other than the usual one,do you know if there are any ?
