"The gendarmerie of the Mbour conducted Monday the arrest of Sheikh Béthio Thioune, spiritual leader of Thiantacounes, as part of the investigation after the discovery of two bodies, following the violent struggle that pitted his followers Sunday. Former student at UCAD, the law school where he would have done that year, he was brilliant in his studies until his path crosses that of the Sheikh. They paid with their lives for their unwavering faith in Béthio Thioune. "
