Some times you get this impression that they are out to make real mask dancers. How on earth people choose transforming to whatever is amazing.
People are into many harmful practices. Yet when others do anything else, that is seen as harmful. People in high society are free to drink in excess, eat to fatten up, pierce, tattoo, drink drive, breast implant, genital surgery, name it. That is still civilised. And now this chemical enhancers. Still civilised. Traditional society does anything near, that's called self harm or mutilation. Such a world is what we live in. |
