I always thought of Nigeria as being a mainly Christian country. On the news we have been hearing about the terrible deaths at the hand of a Muslim group. We are told that Nigeria is Christian in the south and Muslim in the north. Is that correct?

Can anyone tell me more about the history and geography of this group?

Do they have a presence in The Gambia?

It saddens me to think of people loosing their lives over religion whatever 'side' they are on.
Would the world be a more peaceful place if religion didn't exist? That is my philosophical question this Sunday!

I once read somewhere that more people have been killed in the name of religion than all the wars put together

Goodluck Jonathan, it was all good luck when he was sitting. After taking his seat, good luck turned bad.
