I doubt it. Do they know where Gambia is? Anyway, Bush did attend Gambia's indepenece Silver Jubillee in 1990 as a rep. of his father when current bush was Governor of Texas.

It seems like one has to queque up for "Freedom"... and some of it is about what one has thats is in the others economic interest. but even China has the economic piece but not the freedoms..

The story of the Gambia -- dont want it to become a Hotel Rwanda and don't want to see the Gambia or people sold to other countries lock stock and barrel for a few dalasi.

Have lived in tourist enclaves before. The jobs servicing the tourist are the bread and butter, but are always low paying jobs for the people.

Unfortunately thats what it is. You have to offer something to be on the spotlight. The only thing we send to the U.S. is the Giant Gambian Rat. Did you see the piece on CNN sometime last year.

Kons, I rather see the four legged rats than the two legged ones, the two legged are much more dangerous and need to be watched carefully... as they say out in ci alla bi over here, "money talks and bs walks".

adama and awa had kids and their kids had kids, somehow they didn't get good parental upbringing or the society was unjust, hence, two legged rats were brought into existence... they can be found many times in political and economic arenas...:)
