Does anyone know anything of Kairaba Senior Secondary School? ? I have a student at Kotu SSS who has just finished grade 10 (he passed this year but was re-sitting!). He wants to transfer and says it's a better school and he has a better chance their for grade 11 and 12. I know Kotu SSS doesn't have great results but no nothing about Kairaba. Any comments would be helpful. Thank you.
I am familiar with two schools. YMCA which provides computer and short training programs now has a secondary school programs for Grade 10 and 11. They are new, so I am not sure if attending there would be a good idea. In Lamin, there is a school called St.Peter, that is the one I choose for my students. They have very nice space, clean, I think it has the best space I have seen in Gambia. And, very good teachers I heard.
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.
Thanks Tom - I know pipeline well - but thought it was now called Daddy Jobe. Yet my research shows me that Kairabe SSS had their grade 12 ceremony at Daddy Jobe so I think you are right and they are linked.
Turk - yes - have a boy in St Peter's too. He likes it but it's not for everyone.
