On occasions Bantaba Admin has been found closing topics for what one can blame on deliberate use of profanity. From what is seen clearly, a person like Moe seems to know quite well that by employing bad mouthed language, Bantaba Admin plays in his hands and closes the affected topic. If this is a standard to go by, will it be fair at all? The concern is that someone like Moe will then carry on taking advantage of the situation.

On all manner of fairness, the person who uses profanity (in this case Moe) is the one ripe for sanctioning. To permit Moe abuse Bantaba rules and get him go loose, yet closing genuine topis is show of serious weakness on the way of Bantaba Admin.

To let this trend continue is another way of granting loose cannons fire arms to shoot down genuine topics as has been observed.

The particular under observation is the one about Gambia to follow the steps of Senegal and fighting tyranny. Moe jumped on the topic and came up with his usual childish profanity. Suddenly Bantaba Admin closed the topic. This is not first or second time.

Keeping to standards ensures that nobody abuses the platform.

Bantaba Admin ALWAYS keeps his ear to the ground or put another way his eye on the screen, and so he should ,there are regular posters on Bantaba who do not use profanities but none the less are using language that MANY can take exception to, a lot of this is political rubbish sponsored by the various political platforms who use bantaba to influence Gambians to join their political factions, and have more or less taken over discussion of any other topic of interest that may arise.
Nothing to do with me as I am a guest here and a Toubab at that.!!

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
