Party sounds great Toubab.

I like the mexican special drink called sangria.

Before you kick-start the party, please take a note of some of statling revelations on Freedom Newspaper.

I wish you a great rest of the week.

Thanks,
Yero.

Sangria is not originally Mexican. It is Iberian.

Why not,all can come,"peepers" non posters, looking at some of the "locations" where the posters are resident (?) we must have representatives from most countries on the globe represented here on Bantaba Dalton1 can have his Mexican version of the Spanish drink if he brings the recipe

Turk:

You are probably right about the sangria. Just a half cup will do for toubab. That is only if the choices are to be wine free.

Jokes aside, it is one of my favorite drinks at the Mexican Rest.with the burritto wrapped with rice, spicies and its many ingredians.

party participants: Must be 18 and over. Cannot be with Jammeh, lol. Must speak English and two African languages. cannot be a peeper

Good night...great to see the humorous thread.

You would rather to have Sangria Senorial which has no wine unlike original Sangria. I like quesadilla as I don't like rice that much other than sushi and Jamaican style coconut milk rice and black peas.

Poor Toubab, are you starting to feel lonely here
I'll gladly join the party if there's Sangria to be had (very Spanish indeed). BTW, Dalton1 -doesn't the good book of which the pages are turned so fast in your avatar tell you that Sangria is out of bounds ? It looks fruity, but is very alcoholic!
Since i am only a peeper here nowadays and i only speak two words of Mandinka (Abaraka banta), i wonder if i will be welcome.
Sangria with sushi: what a strange combination!

Dear Anna,

Someone who is decorated with 4 shiny stars like you cannot be termed a peeper, lol & good to see your threads. I think people get too busy with errands sometimes and one cannot help but be a peeper or scanner to threads. Where is my lovely Sab, sweetheart Bev et al? I am happy that Toubab is calling for an after-party. The Indian guy who insulted Gambians better excuse himself as he is not invited.

On a note about the sangria, there is the non-alcoholic one, less I was fooled about its ingrediants. I have had it many times. It taste good. I don't drink or smoke.

I was wondering what Kay has been upto lately?

Have a great rest of the week!

Yero

Alj Momodou,

Just out of curiosity, is the picture on your avatar Cheikh anta?

If so, what is your special like about the fellow? That would be your contribution to Toubab's house party as time permits.......

Make it a great day.....

Yero, Yes it is young Cheikh Anta Diop. I thought you knew. Here is a page I have a dedicated to him since sometime in 1997/98 at: http://www.gambia.dk/antadiop.html
There you can see some of his major works and achievements. I have most of his books that are translated in English and the photos on the site were sent to me by people I have never met.

[There are however other important works that are published in journals such as dosage test. A technique developed by Diop to determine the melanin content of the egyptian mummies. The irony of this new technique was later adopted by the U.S. forensic department to determine the racial identity of badly burnt accident victims. Yet to date they have never acknowledged the author of this test! ]

Alj. Momodou:

It is very enlightening to see such a powerful bios on Diop. I am not surprised of the above –I mean his capability to have come up with a lab test method (dosage test). My reasoning is very simple. Diop is believed to have worked in the laboratory as an assistant for the Curies, whose contributions to physics and Mathematics are celebrated today, especially that of radioactivity.

Thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards,
Yero
