I would like to extend my appreciation to the forum. In december 2003 i wrote my story to the forum requesting any knowledge about my father.I am glad to say its been 2 years since we have been in contact & have actually met on a few occasions whilst he was visiting RSA on UN duty.I am a Gambian born Zimbabwean, that's to say my dad is from the former, yet my mum is from the latter.I'm now 25 & will be completing my undergraduate studies in medicine in november this year.my full names are Che Gift Manneh.Thank you once again comrades for availing yourselves & for caring enough to attend to my story.I hope in a few months i will pay a visit to my country of origin.

Thanks for informing us. It must have been a wonderful moment for both of you when you met. Good luck with your studies.
