Dear President Jammeh the bluffs and threats against Gambians who are “ewu” or “kuningta” (aware) can
never work. Deliver first and stop blabbing. Even Sir Thomas More's “Utopia” is more realistic that your
boring charade of transforming the Gambia into an oil producing nation, the Dubai of Africa, Silicon Valley of
Africa, Superpower of Africa, food basket of Africa, greenest pasture of the world, bla-bla-bla! The greatest
resources of every nation are not its extractive raw materials but its peoples. South Korea, Singapore,
Japan and Taiwan have no raw resources like Africa but through their human resources they rose to the
top league of cutting-edge innovations. You are destroying Gambia's human capital and putting all the
blame on us men. Yes we men are somehow culpable as we allowed you to misbehave for so long. You
ingrate!
