ITS REALLY DISAPPOINTING TO HEAR MATHEW K. JALLOW ON RADIO FREEDOM WITH CRUDE IDEAS! THESE ARE THE VOCAL SO-CALLED ELITES DIS-ORIENTING OTHERS AND UNDERMINING ANY EFFORTS TO MOBILISE AN EFFECTIVE CAMPAIGN TO KICK OUT JAMMEH/APRC

HOPE FREEDOM WILL RELEASE A VERBATIM REPORT OF THIS PROGRAM? TAKING NOTE THAT HE DIDN'T SCORE ANY POINT AGAINST HALIFA SALLAH AMONGST OTHERS; EXCEPT EXPRESSING A CHRONIC PERSONAL HATRED, EXPOSING HIMSELF AS A VERY DELUDED ELITE INTO BELIEVING HIS IMPORTANCE, MANIPULATING OUR MINDS, PLAYING TRICKS WITH OUR NAIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS POLITICS DEVELOPING HIS PROFILE (PERSONALITY AS A POLITICAL HUSTLER) IN OUR STRUGGLE TO RESTORE A BETTER GAMBIA FROM CLUTCHES OF JAMMEH/AP[RC! NO WONDER HIS UNCLE HAMAT BAH IS PROTECTED AS A SACRED COW; WITHOUT ANY COMMENT AGAINST HIM

I WOULD TRY TO CAPTURE AND HIGHLIGHT SOME OF HIS COMMENTS LATER!

WHAT MATHEW K.JALLOW SAID;

1. OUSAINOU DARBOE : THAT HE KNEW OUSAINOU AS A "VERY NICE MAN" BUT NOT VERY STRONG AS LEADER ("VERY WEAK"); "GOT PAPER QUALIFICATIONS"; "NOT ASSERTIVE"; "NOT KEEN IN POLITICS" BUT INVITED TO SERVE; HAS NO CONFIDENCE IN HIM BECAUSE PRONE TO BE "EASILY MANIPULATED BY SUPPORTERS OR MILITANTS" (OF UDP ELITES) AND "NOT FIT" TO LEAD OR AS PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY

I TOTALLY DIS-AGREE WITH HIM AS OUSAINOU DESERVES A COMPLIMENT; IS FIT TO LEAD THE COUNTRY FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE, UPHOLDS RULE OF LAW, JUSTICE, ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY AND DEMOCRACY; IN MY OPINION.

ALSO IN MY OPINION RESERVATIONS WITH OUSAINOU AND UDP INCLUDED; LACKING CLEAR-CUT & SOUND AGENDA, TACTICAL SKILLS, DECISIVENESS TO CAPITALISE ON OPPORTUNITIES (OPENED AGES AGO & BOOSTED PRESENTLY) AS "LARGEST OPPOSITION", TO SHARE OF RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FAILURES OF OPPOSITION PARTIES BY ITS APPROACH, TACTICS AND DIS-UNITY

2. HALIFA SALLAH MERELY SEEN BY MATHEW K. JALLOW AS A "CRUDE SOCIALIST", "SOCIALISM IDEAS OUTDATED", "NOT A TRUE DEMOCRAT" AND HE DOES NOT LIKE HIS "POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY OR ADVOCACY" AND CRITICISING HIS PERFORMANCE AT RECENT WORLD SOCIAL FORUM (WSF) AND MISCONSTRUE HIS STATEMENTS OR VIEWS IN MY OPINION THOSE ASSUMPTIONS ARE OUTRAGEOUS, BASELESS, FALLACY AS MATHEW K. JALLOW IS NOT MORE COMPETENT IN POLITICS THAN HALIFA SALLAH OR ANY PDOIS LEADER

LIKE OUSAINOU AMONGST OTHERS HALIFA SALLAH IS FIT TO LEAD THE COUNTRY IN OPINION

First of all, great that you try to connect conversations. However, if you can just take out your capital lock, it will be readable and friendly.
Secondly, Mathew like many Gambians have the right to be critical of the opposition figures. Where their criticism is found wanting is, their personal involvement in the Gambian political equivation. To say X is not political material is easy, however, why not directly get involve to provide an alternative. Politics is about people seeing a vacuum and they sacrificing their personal safety, wealth, time, energy and wellbeing to get involve.
This is what guys in PDOIS show in the late 1980s and formed themselves, create a media outlet, and commence selling their ideas.
Likewise the UDP, in 1996, some people show that, without a formidable challenge, the military will only change clothes but remain soldiers in civilian dress. And they too offer Gambians their political views.
Hence, every single Gambian have the right to say Ousainou should not be in politics, he should be this and that, just like Ousainou and his supporters have the right to tell those folks to be rather proactive and form a party, bid to change the course things are heading in the Gambia.
I encourage, Mathew, Karamba, Terangba, and all others who see the opposition as weak to offer Gambians their service. Afterall, Gambians aren't stupid, they know their interest and will always like many other people respond to what benefit them in the short term.
The oppositions in the Gambia are self funded. Obama gain millions of American Dollars to get his way to White House, how much has Mathew contributed to NRP for instance in telling them to visit Gambians?
Third politics is more of a triumphalist one. When you get to power through arms, you monopolise the state fund, patronise the people, oppress decenting voice and weaken the oppositions. Later the good people will join you in condemning the opposition for not wanting to commit suiside.
hence, The Gambia will go through the opposition bashing until such a time, people smell the coffee to see that, Ousainou, Halifa, Sedia, Hamat are just like any of us. They have families, friend's, feelings, needs and want to stay alive. If you an equal Gambian who cannot even show your identity belief that, you are braver than they are, who are you deceiving?
Indeed constructive criticism is good, and we welcome it. But play your part as well. If you see no need to donate to PDOIS, UDP, NRp, then form your own party and fight for the people. This way, you didn't just sitby, but actuall put your money where your mouth is.
Mathew like many others are good at analysising others, what he is offering, HIMself.

Surah- Ar-Rum 30-22
"And among His signs is the creation of heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge." Qu'ran

Thanks Santanfara for such constructive criticisms; I would love to be more vocal in Gambian Politics but I do not think the time is right. We currently do not have a uniting figure and the level of political awareness in the Gambia is noting to be envy of.

Santanfara I can understand why you take a different posture with Nyarinkanbanna/S.S.Darboe when Lawyer Ousainou Darboe is openly criticised as a weak leader by Mathew K. Jallow! With Mathew we have heard worst outspoken criticisms and discrediting Ousanou Darboe as a weak leader than what was covered/argued by other UDP hard-line militants under related Bantaba Gambian politics topic under Statement on Unfair Criticisms of the UDP under http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10334

Due to the fact that Halifa Sallah was not spared (to your pleasure) you decided to downplay it Mathew is intelligent (like what you said"Mathew like many others are good at analysing others, what he is offering, HIMself." but these are the vocal elites (amongst others) making remarks that are counter-productive, dis-orienting and thwarting any collective efforts to mobilise ALL OPPONENTS against Jammeh/APRC or closing any prospects of getting rid of Jammeh always These are elites that has a big share of opposition failures; putting them in jeopardy with all its ramifications; especially ripping apart N.A.D.D in 2006 that ended in a debacle and tension between U.D.P/N.R.P/P.D.O.I.S; with his rants, hatred of Halifa Sallah/P.D.O.I.S. Here again this argument will not interest you since its about N.A.D.D and him supporting Hamat Bah's pull-out for alliance with your party UDP However recent well published statements (across on-line Gambian media/forums) from Mathew K.Jallow is a good case to show that these elites are deluded, totally dis-orientated with realities on the ground, encourage more hostilities and undermine any progress for organised mass mobilisation. What can opposition benefit from Letter from America By Mathew K.Jallow (as a typical case) under http://www.maafanta.com/MathewJallowLetterFromAmerica.html

ALSO LATEST JUNK UPDATE FROM FREEDOM WITH MATHEW K.JALLOW Gambia: The Gambia: Yahya Jammeh MUST GOUNDER http://www.freedomnewspaper.com/Homepage/tabid/36/mid/367/newsid367/5962/Gambia--The-Gambia-Yahya-Jammeh-MUST-GO/Default.aspx

Also it is easy to challenge him with his criticisms against Halifa as baseless and lacking merit! P.D.O.I.S is amongst most dynamic political parties, with good policies and its leaders amongst most competent politicians (motherland Gambia are proud to have). On P.D.O.I.S political "ideology", "policies", "agenda" and "position"; please revisit and digest page 1 on related Bantaba Gambian politics topic Ahead of Election 2011, Gambian Chiefs Vowed APRC under http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10406&whichpage=1

IN MY OPINION IDEALS OF P.D.O.I.S ARE REPRESENTATIVE OR SIMPLY DEPICTED AS FOLLOWS;

"People" P.D.O.I.S encourages empowerment of the people (masses) to take ownership and decide their destiny; through sensitisation, civic education and awareness programmes.

"Democracy" P.D.O.I.S equally advocate same ideal concepts, policies and programmes like any democratic party; especially UDP. Also U.D.P does not have better concepts, policies and programmes concerning democracy. They are fundamentally on same platform with DEMOCRACY

"Independence" P.D.O.I.S always sensitise on what is "independence"; evidence from foroyaa.

"Socialism" advocates certain policies tailor-made for communal needs and general welfare of Gambians. P.D.O.I.S is more inclined on economic policies making the nation a well-fare state and government that directs and allocate state resources for benefit of all citizens.

FOROYAA RECORDS ARE ENOUGH TO SUPPORT MY OPINIONS AND CONCEPTS ABOVE; IN ADDITION TO 4Ps (PRINCIPLES, PRACTISE, POLICIES, PROGRAMMES) OF P.D.O.I.S AS RELATED TO PARTY MANIFESTO P.D.O.I.S IS NOT LIKE OTHER DORMANT OPPOSITION PARTIES THAT DON'T INVOLVE IN NATIONAL ISSUES; ESPECIALLY N.R.P (CONSIDERED "SECOND LARGEST")

ANY FURTHER COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

MATHEW K.JALLOW JUNK CIRCULATING IN ALL POPULAR ON-LINE GAMBIA NEWSPAPER (EXCEPT GAMBIA JOURNAL) WITH Gambia: The Gambia: Balangbaa, March 26th; Days of Rage, April 11th. 2011 UNDER http://www.freedomnewspaper.com/Homepage/tabid/36/mid/367/newsid367/5973/Gambia--The-Gambia-Balangbaa-March-26th-Days-of-Rage-April-11th-2011/Default.aspx

These are our so-called vocal elites in Gambian politics that appear to knew all dynamics of Gambian politics but are counter-productive to opposition!

THEY SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DECEPTION, DELUSION AND ALL SET-BACKS OF OPPONENTS OF JAMMEH/APRC WITH THEIR POLITICAL ILLUSIONS

THESE VOICES, SAME MENTALITY AND ARROGANCE WITH MATHEW K. JALLOW ALWAYS PUT OPPOSITION IN JEOPARDY AND DERAIL ANY PROPER STRATEGIC/TACTICAL MOBILISATION CAMPAIGN AGAINST JAMMEH/APRC
