In the likely event that Gambians take to the streets to strip him, will the ruthless dictator use fire arms to destroy more lives? Will he step down or use mercenary gangs to kill more Gambians.

Bro Karamba,

Greetings.

There is no doubt that a coward like jammeh will use life bullets on Gambians. This is speaking from the April 10th/11th episode, together with other known atrocities, but seeing what happened to holly molly Ghadaffi, I would say, jammeh can't handle that heat.

The Question is are we ready, and how can we all participate?

Thanks always for your well argued aggression on the common enemy. You are so consistent in what you do.

Yero.

Hello Karamba.
I can assure you that Mr Jammeh can never stand the power of the people.I don't think he is any stronger than Gadarffi.
After all it is the people who gave power to these dictators, and if they decide at a point in time that they don't need the dictators again, who wins?
The answer is clear. Africa is tired of self-made monarchies.

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

Jammeh is currently the 20th longest serving current ruler barring monachies, but i do not believe Gambians are ready for the change that we all may be hoping for. The strength of all autocratic rulers is directly correlated with the weakness of their subjects and if we use that yardstick, he is probably sitting pretty in my opinion.

For very long time Dalton1, I have maintained the view that this state of madness is nothing to sustain. What Kumi stated gives me more conviction that the blood-stained hands of Yaya Jammeh stand to be destroyed.

Mansasulu, anyone would have thought Libya was not ripe for what is happening. Egypt, too was not looking ready for what just happened. While Gambians may be perceived as weak, what makes an uprising is the heavy weight of brutality that brings perpetrators down.

Exactly how things happened in the recent with others, don't rule what may happen in Gambia too.

LESSONS FROM HALIFA ON DEMOCRCY;

"He said that one of the greatest liberation thinkers of the abolitionist or anti slavery movement, Frederick Douglas, indicated before Social Science transformed it into a school of thought that “power concedes to no one without a demand; it never did, it never will“ He said power has to be conquered and tamed by the people, otherwise it suppresses and also dominates."

"People are not cowards as implied; the problem is that they have not been empowered and are yet to be concious of their power."

"According to him, the sovereign citizens must be conscious of one´s power regardless of whether one is resident in a village or town, They should be conscious of one´s equality with others in sovereignty and should put more importance to the sovereign community created by the Republic than any other category such as religion, ethno-linguistic origin and other characteristics. Karamba, Jammeh will obviously use guns for the first few days. If the people overcome the half-baked Paras, Jammeh will jump. I belief the army is watching events across the world. To overcome the fear will take a lot of selflessness. Jammeh cannot continue the grand ceremonies with lavishness. The world is moving on. We need term limit. Jammeh doesn't have the moral authourity to advise Gaddafi, both are criminals and murderers. They all train vulnerable elements to do their dirty work. Gaddafi's closest aid just arrived in Egypt for asylum.

QUOTE: "Jammeh may believe in the strength of his military and will of course use lethal force against any anti-government demonstrations (judging from what he said in January 2000 that he will not hesitate to kill 99 per cent of the Gambian population and go to bed).
