Drama at The Special Court for Sierra Leone (UN) closing arguments as Taylor defense walks out, but court ordered Taylor to "sit" though.

 Charles Taylor all alone, well almost, before he too goes AWOL after recess
 Prosecution presents it's closing arguments, regardless
 Prosecution also mentions Gambia-Libya-Militants-Training etc

I have really high regards for Courtenay Griffiths, he is a delightful gentleman who brings a semblance of justice to the condemned BUT I really do not understand what he is trying to pull with his latest chess move.
He is known for performing detailed homework on his cases... so I'm pretty sure this is a well calculated maneuver and not a decision made "in the heat of the moment."
BTW, great pictures capturing interesting facial expressions. Mr. Griffiths use to say, "this trade is also a performing art." |
