They say there are many days
In a year
Oh so many days
In a lifetime
Some are very happy days
Some too very sad days
My wish and prayer is just for
Another day
That one day of hope restored
That one day of honor restored
That one day of pride restored
For that I look to the future
And for that day I pray daily to come
Before I go to join my ancestors
To tell them about that one day
That brought joy to my heart
It's a day to live for
A day to hope for
And a day worth waiting for
