Ah. The demon drink, unfortunately MANY young people are becoming addicted to alcohol in the UK ,don't I remember that Tony Blair was instrumental in bringing the continental "Cafe Culture" to the UK,( I might be wrong ,correct me if I am )giving a big boost to the drinks industry that had been so constricted by laws introduced around the time of the first world war and worked well for decades, result Booze available everywhere cut prices all around ,more money for local councils to spend selling all sorts of expensive licences to the drinking establishments.what a shame that the traditional British Pub had to listen to its own death knell being tolled, just because of greed for money.

Toubab1020, you raised valid point. Regarding addiction this is another matter. Alcohol has taken control over many lives. Getting drunk and taken momentary leave of real life problems is less helpful. Only for little while can anyone escape under influence of the bottle. After all the booze, life kicks back.
